I heard that one of Quinns last act as Governor was to veto the bobcat hunting bill. I wonder if Rauner can sign that into law after Quinns veto or does it have to go through the Legislature again?  This would be a good opportunity to get other class 3 firearms legal as a rider on this bill.

It's back to the beginning with new legislation if they want it.

EDIT:  Or can the 99th General Assembly override Quinn's veto even though it was a 98th GA bill?

Question:  If Quinn didn't sign it or veto it, would it have become law?  It's been a long time since HS civics classes, and I grew up in NJ.

Congratulations. While you do have some experience with corrupt government, we take it to an entirely new level here in Illinois.
