Anyone know what the mag cap laws are in Wis., Mich., Ind., Mo.,?  Will be traveling and I want to be sure that all is good to go.

If the Wikipedia articles on gun laws in neighboring states are correct, as well as handgunlaw.us, then you should be GTG in those states.

One thing I ran into because I never thought about it. In Illinois it is legal to keep a loaded magazine in the case with a long gun. ( I have a Kel Tec Carbine in a laptop case) I carried it because it didn't stick out when I traveled by car in surrounding states for IT work. Well some of those states it not legal. Didn't think another state would be more restrictive.

No, I didn't get any grief over it. Just thought since it was legal in IL, didn't occur to me it would be more restrictive in another state.
