Just like the title says, we finally opened up a gun shop and are able to accept walk in customers as well as "will call" for orders from our mail order business. We originally planned on it just be an outlet store for our merchandise and firearms but then once we got started we really thought that we should make it a full service gun and pro shop. We carry a pretty expansive line of accessories as well as most of the major names when it comes to firearms.
OUR FIRST DAY OPEN IS GOING TO BE TUESDAY 09/23/2014 A little information on the basics: Address: DSA Arms 27W996 Industrial Ave. Unit # 1 Lake Barrington, IL. 60010 We are located about 2/3 of the way down Industrial on the left hand side in a blue building with red, white and blue stripes, you cant miss it. Phone: 847-277-7258 Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 10:00 - 6:00 Wednesday: 10:00 - 8:00 Thursday & Friday: 10:00 - 6:00 These hours will change in the future once we get up and running and find people to work on Saturdays. And now some pictures of what we have!!

5 mins from home, great news . I remember when the antis showed up to protest, we gave them what for. I bought your, now my, FAL through Atlantic. Now I can walk In and spend my retirement funds with a friend. Congratulations.

Well, the wife, my 3 boys and I stopped by and checked everything out. Nice inventory, super friendly service and decent prices on stuff. I even got to fondle one of DSAs FAL pistols. I will definitely add DSA to my favorite gun stores list.

I was talking to the DS Arms people at Bullpup Shoot 2014, and it sounds like they will be doing a Grand Opening of the shop sometime soon.

Went in today to set up a transfer, now they will not do it on something they can get or have in stock. Being new in retail theirs policies are in flux. I have one of their FAL rifles that I bought several years ago from one of their online distributors. Am ordering a KSG from one of 3 online distributors I deal with. 22 % saving including tax , which is significant. Also want to add their FAL pistol, which is significantly less from one of their distributors. I understand their change of heart, and I don't mind paying a bit more locally but 20-30% more is just to much for an old retired guy.
Till now I usually went to GAT to see something up close, last year they had a shotgun I wanted that was within 5% of online prices with tax on top and I bought it. 10% +/- Is my limit. I run my transfers through a local home based dealers who carries significant inventory and does 25 dollar transfers but is not as close as DSA? Just my 2 cents worth. |
