Highly doubtful.  You'd see the Chitcago crime rate plummet.  The democraps can't have that, it would invalidate their agenda.

This would be great, but given the fight the state put up (and is continuing to put up) over concealed carry, I'm not holding my breath.

first I'm a white, male, Christian so not a very good candidate for a case.

second not sure what point of law the case would be based on

now that we have 'probally will issue if you jump the hoops' carry I don't see many changes in the future

It is never off the table but, likelihood is obviously very slim.  The leadership in IL congress would freak out as would the rest of the nanny minded Cook County legislators.  As long as this end of the sate wags the dog so to speak, this type of legislation doesn't stand much of a chance.
it would truly take a very dedicated court ruling to make it happen.
