I was getting ISRA alerts about a dog fight in Niles over a gun shop. A group connected to Bloomberg was involved. Common sense prevailed, the range and gun shop got the go ahead.

It got the go ahead from the planning commission a second time after the village board punted it back. It still has to go back to the village board again for approval at July's meeting...It's on Tues the 22nd.

Niles is in enemy territory, Cook County. Cook County has way too many restrictions on guns.

It's nice to see the Bloomies lose, isn't it? They're so obviously transparent, with their 'it sends the wrong message' crap....

I have a hint: if the mere IDEA of a gun gives you the shivery sweats, you don't need to lobby against guns; you need a psychiatrist.

The anti-gun news media in Chicago keeps mentioning the closeness of the range to schools, I fail to see an issue. Other then Niles closeness to Chicago

It's especially hilarious because Dicks Sporting Goods is about a mile away from Niles West and they sell guns also.

I do hope they will have a nice reloading section, nothing is very close to me and a lot of places wont ship to me either.
