I'm currently in Chicago cook county area. I'll be here for a while as no resident. Am I able to bring my long rifle with 30 cap clip from another state (TX) while I'm here? If anyone could link the laws for cook county area that would be awesome. thanks

I wanna say thats a big no. Chicago has an awb as far as I know.

Both Chicago and Cook County have AWB in place.

Neither seem all that interested in aggressively enforcing them, but that does not mean they can't or won't do so in a particular case.
