It depends. Some people are over 90 days with prints and no explanation for the delay. This is Illinois. It's not like they process them in any kind of order or anyone can make sense out of how things are done in Springfield.

It means the check's in the mail so to speak. Unless something goes wrong you'll have your card in a day or two.

Since 120 days is the mark, no reason to be pissed. It's coming, brother.

Well, boohoo.  If you wanted to "expedite" receiving your carry license, I suggest you should've submitted your application with fingerprints.  The state clearly says it could take up to 90 days with prints, and 120 days without them.  Nowhere did it say if guys that submitted prints are receiving licenses within 30 days, guys that are not submitting will receive licenses in 60... Some of you guys that did not submit prints seem to be crying over the fact it's taking a little longer to receive your license.  I filed with no prints, full well knowing it'd take longer to receive than if I got them.  I was ok with that, as I saved the money on the prints and it'll still come but just might have to wait a bit longer.  Until the state surpasses 120 days on "no print" applications, I'm not seeing a problem here.  Day 77 here...over and out.

it shouldnt take longer, in any way shape or form. especially not 70 extra days. they are just playing games and making people get their prints in the system.

And received in the mail today!  However, I didn't get one, but two copies.  Did anybody else get two envelopes, each containing a copy of your FCCL?

Actually, given the unlikelihood that anyone would EVER get one of these things in IL and you got two...you might want to frame the dupe!
