Angelo B. a 50 year old factory grunt from somewhere between Joliet and New Lenox, IL.
4 years ago my brother gave me suped up Norinco 1911 Gov. clone and it's been responsible firearms ownership and safe shooting ever since. I really don't know much about guns but I can detail strip all of 'my' guns nor do I shoot very well but I'm trying. I shoot on the inlaws farm at least a couple times per month. I also go to Buffalo Range once in awhile. Along with the Norinco 1911 clone I have a Ruger New Single Six in bright stainless, .357 mag Taurus Tracker with 6.5" barrel, unissued CZ 52 in 7.62x25 Tokarev, a nickle Rossi model 68 .38 Spl with 3" barrel, Marlin rifle model 982VS in .22 WMR a 1959 vintage .22LR Remington model 572 Lightweight, an old sporterized Mauser in .243 Win. and finally...last week I ordered a new RRA NM A4 and am really looking forward to it. Springfield, Illinois (auburn, actually) LAN Administrator, and i own a small used car lot. i road race on an amateur level in a semi-pro series (little joke, i'm below amateur) I used to target shoot and own a dozen weapons but they all fell in the river while i was boating, terrible accident. Should not have been cleaning them there. 3 dogs, 1 wife (so far), 1 boy (so far). |

Dupage County Monkey Wrangler (Systems Administrator) I shoot a lot of paper but would like to start hunting, haven't since I was a kid. I picked shooting up again a couple of years ago because I missed it. I enjoy it and its always come easy to me. I also enjoy using anything mechanical, even cleaning my guns (K, so maybe I'm weird on this point). Just recently started perusing the "hometown" section in hopes of finding people to shoot with and places to shoot. |

Hunt Deer (Shotgun&Bow), Turkey, Pheasant and Dove (when they are tired and flying slow) Ex-Navy Aviation Electrcian (VFA-37) AR15 16" SS Bull-Barrel Free Float(built by me all DPMS except upper receiver), Fal(currently under construction), AK47(Yugo UF under const.), Sig P220ST, Remington 1187 Sportsman, Sportsman 48, Ruger Mini-14 SS, 1911 built by me, EAA .357 mag, SKS(Yugo newly acquired), Ruger 10/22, CZ75 P01 9mm and some other odds and ends. Bear GTX Compound Bow for the days you cant legally take deer with guns! Getting into Muzzleloading this year and waiting for IDNR to decide if I get a permit to use for it this year. Rarely get to ranges because of previous hectic job schedule. That stuff is behind me now so I look forward to make it to some matches and would really like to be a competitor in some. Next winter projects include buy/restore M1 Garand (CMP), AK47 Yugo fixed, and then there is this stripped AR15 receiver waiting to become a 20" tack driver. Looking forward to meeting some people with same interests and always willing to help on any builds when I can. Working on geting setup for home parkerizing, already own AR15 Barrel Wrench, lots of other tools. If i need it, I buy it! |

Originally from San Antonio TX. Went to UIUC for two years, then was deployed to Iraq for 18 months. Came home, went back to San Antonio, got married. Now my wife and I are moving (in 2 days) back up to Urbana so I can finish school. She is a high school english teacher. |

My name is John and I live in Matteson. I have been shooting Cowboy Action for about 6 years. I have an assortment ranging from an '06 Winny, 22 s-l-lr, to 1878 Colt SXS shotgun, 12 gauge. Live in one of the towns that bans handguns... take ur pick, they all sux. Work in IT breaking and then fixing computers I'm new to firearms but fell in love with my first shot. My collection as of now are 2 glocks. I understand they are illegal in those towns but I have a nice family member who was willing to hold them at his house (lives outside one of those towns) and I can grab them at any time. |
