Mark this on your calendar - Saturday, May 20th!

Join Southern Nevada NRA-ILA Frontlines, in conjunction with Mike Zolczer of Polyphonic Audio, and Matt Sarich of Russian Roulette Clothing, and Jerry Tumminia of the Green Valley Range, for a massive clean up of the Sloan shooting area!

Where: Mile Marker 15
When: 7:00 AM

There will be an area designated for parking at Mile Marker 15. But if it's more convenient for you, meet at the M Casino (12300 S Las Vegas Blvd) at 6:30 AM and drive down together. If needed, you can always park at the M and hitch a ride to the site with someone else. It's all good!

We will provide plenty of water for all volunteers (please make sure you begin hydrating the DAY BEFORE). *Possible* light breakfast served, details pending.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is on board with us. They will provide tools and trash bags for everyone along with oversize trash dumpsters to haul away the endless unsightly garbage that has piled up due to irresponsible lazy shooters.

As for safety, the BLM will cordon off areas during our clean up to ensure that we are safe.

Note:

Polyphonic Enterprises - Custom Personal Audio - will be giving away a pair of free custom molded hearing protection to 2 winners. 10% off of online purchases for volunteers.

Russian Roulette Clothing - Firearms T-shirts to 10 winners and 20% off of online for volunteers

Lon C. Ray of Friends of NRA - 1 Pair of Ear muffs & 1 Pair of Ear Plugs

Green Valley Range- $10 off range passes to all volunteers, and to one lucky winner a GVR Gold Membership!!!

This is a good cause. That entire area looks like one dangerous setup with people shooting shit in all directions. I hate driving by because I actually fear being hit by a projectile!

I'll try and make it. Need an industrial strength magnet to sweep the place weekly.

I very rarely go out there since I belong to BRPC, but once in a blue moon I zip out there since it only takes me about 15 min to get into a shooting spot if I just want to test something out really quick.  I can't believe how much shit people leave out there!!    Frickin pisses me off.  I just went there the other day to test my new Shield and I picked up a bunch of ammo boxes, plastic bottles & jugs, cans and cardboard.  Just threw it in our recycling bin when I got home.  All ARFCOMMERS who head out there should always do that.  It probably wouldn't help much but it definitely won't hurt!

A lot of people are assholes!

Glad it went well, that's a lot of junk. How much was removed?
I had the plague so spent the weekend on the couch.
