Hey guys, I will be moving at the end of August for work. I haven't decided where to look yet for a house but work will be in the Spring Valley area. Might end up staying in that area. Excited about the move.

Welcome to Nevada! There are some decent areas in spring valley. I would recommend renting in the 89146, 89147, 89149 zip code areas. Decent sized homes, decently priced, acceptable crime levels. If you're looking to buy and don't mind an hour commute I would look at places in Pahrump

Welcome! Spring Valley is nice. Summerlin is expensive but also nice. South Central is decent as well. Just lots of home and auto burglaries everywhere you go. Dogs, cars in the driveway, and lights on in the house are the biggest deterrents. Don't leave stuff visible in your car while it's unattended. Hopefully this helps just a little!

Welcome to Las Vegas, OP.

Spring Valley is still a nice area.
