Me and the wife are heading there for a week. What are some cool things to do other than the tourist stuff. any recommendations on some great food places and off the strip stuff.

Lindo Michoacan mexican restaurant on Carnegie St.  Get there before sunset and get a window seat.  Excellent food, drinks.  Superb view of Vegas when it gets dark.

The Steakhouse in Circus Circus has great steaks.  The casino is a dump, but the restaurant more than makes up for it.

Ohjah japanese restaurant on Decatur is excellent.

Kona Grill in Boca Park has excellent food.  Hawaiian/Asian fusion style.  Get an upstairs or downstairs patio table.




Hoover dam tour is pretty good.

Atomc Museum tour is pretty cool to see.

Rollin Smoke Barbeque  just down the street from Count's Kustoms

And directly across the street from welderup aka Vegas ratrods.
