DS was a great range. The fact they no longer allow .50 isn't suprising...years and years ago when it was allowed I would get crap from everyone for firing mine on range 6. Those geezers who would be there everyday plinking with their little benchrest rifles would be the biggest whiners. I would try and explain my AR50 was no different than theirs but they just wouldn't listen and would all pack up and leave in a huff. Many days I would have all of range 6 to myself for hours...unless Pete would join me...those were the days. I let my membership lapse once they did away with the 24hr aspect. We had a few night shoots, I even bought a Honda generator for them.....

NFA has Lake City .50 cal AP with tracers linked for $210 per 100 rds......I have no idea why .50 has dropped in price but I picked up another 100 while I was there today.....
