I am in Washoe so most of the positions I am looking for input on are that but obviously any info would be good. Sheriff sounds like Allen so I am not worried.

Anything I should know?? I forgot my damn ballot at work so I cant even remember all the specifics.

Question 1,
Create a statewide appellate court system.

Mixed bag, the current system is broken due to frivolous suits overloading it.
I'm not happy with the possibility that we would get more "legislation from the bench".
Lots of assurances that won't happen.
Looks likely to pass, vote Yes or No as it's kind of a no win question.

Question 2,
Amend the Nevada constitution to allow the liberal controlled legislature to drive mining out of this state via unlimited taxes.

Not just NO, but HELL NO!

Question 3,
Margin Tax being hidden behind a misleading title of "Education Initiative".

The misleading BS alone is enough to prove it's garbage.
Basically comes down to being a state income tax as the expenses will ultimately be paid by the consumer.
Claims to be "Only" 2% on business making over a million bucks a year.
More lies, the expense is cumulative on EACH business that handled the goods, from the farmer to the retailer.
Could be up to 20% for some items.
If this passes a LOT of business will leave, MORE will scratch Nevada off the list of places to move to.
Good only if you want to put Nevada back into a clear recession.
NO! To infinity!

Yeah I am a no new taxes for sure. I find it hilarious that the one industry that has provided jobs and money through thick and thin is who they want to target. Sad thing is mining will frequently just shut up and a pay the bills as they want to keep making their money.

Yup, Mines aren't like Tesla, they don't get to pick and choose where they will set up shop. They will, however, work any new taxes into their calculations on when to quit expanding, which projects get funded, and when to shut down an operation. All of which mean less mining, and less work.

I voted no on all three questions. Whenever the intend is to increase taxes, levy new ones or to increase the size and scope of government my answer is no.

As for the rest, I did my best to vote against the biggest libtards on the ballot. That means that I not always liked who I voted for but hey, there's only so much you can do.

Question 2 is worthless. Mines exempted themselves from paying the massive tax the State was looking for because minerals in their natural form don't count. They make too much money to not have special interest groups looking out for them. Just like how tesla doesnt have ENOUGH special interest groups looking out for them.

Judge Wheeler was in charge of Daren Mack's case. Remember Mr.ack running to Mexico after the judge gave pretty much everything to his wife in the divorce? Chuck Allen hasn't spent a ton on slur ads. I voted independent for a lot because I agree with their lhilosophies more than 'party lines' if you want to call them that.

(D) Miller is a zealot leftist gun banner 'tard and crook, but I may be sugarcoating it.

(R) Adam Laxalt is the only one with an actual chance of winning AND also likely to support our RKBA.
I've spoken to Adam myself and have been assured of RKBA support, for the little that is worth.

The Hansen clan are all IAP/libertarians who may sometimes run as republicans in order to stand a chance at winning.
AG is a pretty important office, it would be a shame if Miller won on a very slim vote margin created by a few too many voting for the third party candidate.

Adam Laxalt for the win!

Mid-term election with very low voter turnout.
This gives US an opportunity!
All we have to do is get off the couch and out from behind the keyboard in greater numbers than the gun banners/FSA to get our guys/gals elected and stop the stupid initiatives cold.
In my county I cast the first vote on the first day of early voting, so I already took my own advice.

Go and vote, get everyone you know who is not a libtard to go vote, DO NOT shrug it off as "Just a midterm election" and stay home.
If there is nothing and no one you support in this election there must certainly be some you oppose.

Justin Jones race is not really "In the bag" for him, he just acts like that since he is counting on funny business sponsored by Bloom-Turd to get him another term.
Remember that he barely won his prior election, he CAN be beat, even by Becky Harris.
"His people" are less likely to vote than those who actually care about issues, so all we have to do is show up and vote in greater numbers.
THIS IS IMPORTANT, it really is.
Much easier to kill anti-RKBA bills when the most visible prime sponsor is OUT of office.
Retiring Jones can send a strong message in our favor, allowing him back in will encourage his fellow socialist to push their crap even harder.
Please support Becky Harris, even if it means holding your nose to check her name on the ballot.
The gun rights you save may be your own.

I think it's too late to make changes for this election.

Did you receive a sample ballot?
If you did take that with you and vote at the location listed on the cover, or vote early and the sample ballot will be your voter ID.
Please do update your info before the next election.

If you did NOT get a sample ballot you need to contact your county clerk to see what you can do in order to vote in this election.

Judges are hard, even if you do get a chance to talk with them outside of being a defendant!
Every question is answered with "I cannot take a position on that", or "I have to follow the law as written".
Unless they are well know for their bias (As many are) about all you can go by is their party, which will not be mentioned for a non-partisan office.

I voted yesterday (finally) and I voted NO on all three questions.

I have been voting for a long time in Nevada, and I know who all the players are so I voted wisely, and I will admit that I voted for some people I didn't care for along party lines (R).

With that said, I did need some help in the Judicial races and I got some help from a Patriot friend who is plugged into the judicial system and I trust his judgement.

Next Tuesday night will be a real nail biter and I hope we can pull it off in Nevada and nationwide. My fingers are crossed.

If you haven't voted yet, PLEASE, vote on or before Tuesday, and talk to as many knowledgeable people before you touch the screen on the DRE.

-Joe

The Reno Gazoo  Yurinal headline today was all about record LOW turnout for this election!

As I've posted before, this gives US an opportunity.
If WE and a enough like minded folk VOTE the bad candidates and ballot questions lose, we win!

This election will come down to which side is more motivated for several races.
The anti's/libtards are having to be PAID to get off their butt's, I sincerely hope that we can outnumber them for the sake of our state, counties, and ultimately country.
Voting is silly easy now, we have several days to do it, not just one, so no excuse to miss it.

Control of the state legislature rest on this election and I really do not want another session of libs making and breaking the rules as we had in 2013.
This is our chance to retire Justin Jones and several of his ilk rather than have to fight another SB221 type battle in 2015!

BTW, anyone else catch the Miller campaign ad segment as it flashed by, the one where he strikes a Diane Fine-swine pose with an AK?
It goes by in a blink, but it's there if you pay attention.
That pose was NOT in support of our RKBA, it was from a press conference supporting "Gun Control", SB221 as I recall.

What's so wrong with making another court that appeals can go through?  I don't understand why speeding up the appeals process would be a bad thing if it was something like background checks or outlawing open carry.

Think tactically.
In two years we will be having this same discussion but it will be O'Bummer and Pinky Reid who are being replaced or running again per the Constitution (Or not?)

Tactically we need as many republicans elected as possible this election in preparation for the next.

Sec. of State has a lot of influence on the election and initiative processes.
With the possibility that O'Bummer might actually try to stay on for third term under some insane pretext we need to deny him support from the SOS in Nevada.
Also look at the current Bloom-Turd "Initiative" being foisted on us by a N.Y. scumbag and circulated by out of state fools.
Not certain what can be done to limit this crap, but a Dem. SOS will never lift a finger to limit it, or even answer our questions in a timely manner.
So it's Barbara Cegavske if only to protect the integrity of our Nevada legislative and elections process.

State Controller is a book keeper.
Would be nice to have an honest one who will do more than just go through the motions or take the PC path every time.
Ron Knecht has been the ONLY conservative on the board of regents for several years.
He has saved us a lot of money in opposing several expensive university system demands.
He's a sharp and genuinely conservative guy, easy to talk with, not an egg-head snob like so many university types.
From what I know Ron will reduce duplicate spending and find other ways to clean up several aspects of the state budget without demanding new taxes.
The Dem candidate will certainly NOT do that.

Why does early voting matter?

Generally, more than half of Nevada’s voters cast an early ballot. In 2012, 61 percent of ballots came through early voting.
Unless Democrats can find a quick fix, Republicans will head into Election Day with a healthy cushion of votes that could be the deciding factor in close races.

Music to my ears, but, DO NOT let this persuade you to sit out election day!

The Jones -  Bloomturd cabal needs to be stopped.
Jones CAN be beat, but we need every possible vote against him.

Ross (Wants to be da' boss!) Miller would be a disaster as AG.
I'm not enough of a 'Net expert to grab the screen shot of his campaign ad where he brandishes an AK to demand more "Gun Control".
Maybe some one here can help with that?

Dumping Horse-ass-ford would be GREAT!
It would help the entire nation in addition to erasing a Nevada embarrassment.
One less Dingy Reid / Pres. Obey-Me butt kisser.

If nothing else matters to you, you still need to vote against Q3!

Trouble for Democrats also lurks in Senate District 9, where Republicans have a 300-vote advantage so far. The Democrats hold an 11-10 Senate majority but if incumbent Democrat Justin Jones loses to Republican Becky Harris the Senate majority could shift to Republicans.

As a newby RINO Harris still beats having Jones as a multi-term libtard socialist!
She will have to work with her party caucus more often than not in order to stand any chance at a second term.
So she would have to help us more than hurt us.

Jones would be a senior member of the libtards hierarchy and is a ring leader in the assault on our RKBA, he HAS to go down!
Jones and Tick (Bloodsucker) Segerblom have been tag teaming us, this is a chance to break up that pair.

Looked up Miller on WIKI and found this, "Miller earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, during which time he worked as an intern for President Bill Clinton".
No wonder he's a gun grabbing libtard!
Tried to grab a screen shot of him doing the Fienstein pose with an AK but could not do it.
Everyone who watches any television should have seen it by now, it's on at every commercial break.
So even the libertarians should be voting for Tarkanian in order to keep Miller from trashing our gun rights.
Remember, he actively supported SB221 which was improper for his office to do.
Was NOT his job to make the laws, if he becomes AG it would STILL not be his job to make law, only to enforce what the legislature passes.
But he will not let such minor details stop him, and what he does in public will be the tip of the iceberg for what he does in secret!

This guy wants to be governor after Sandoval.
As AG he gets the credibility to run for Governor, stopping him NOW helps to stop him later.

At this hour only about 30% precincts reporting.

The good, Justin (Weasel face) Jones looks to be losing by a fairly good margin.
I'm sure that's a response to his radical attacks on our RKBA more than a love of Becky Harris.
Hopefully this sends a message to other Dems, F'with our gun rights and we bounce yer @ss out of office.
Sad we keep having to repeat that lesson.

Q3 is getting stomped!

If the trend holds republicans take the state senate, so the Dems. will suddenly rediscover the rules next session and some desire for genuine compromise.
No more dictating ALL the bills!
This should go a long way toward putting the brakes on new "Gun Control".

Bad news, Q2 is BARELY passing.
Hopefully the rural areas will turn that around by morning?

More bad news, the Laxalt - Miller race is less than a percentage point apart and could go either way.
Miller wins and Dingy Reid continues to get away with murder.
Laxalt wins and Reid is probably done in politics even if he does escape being indited.

Secretary of State race is also too close to call, another 1% margin.

Oh yes, at the national level republicans keep the house and took the senate away from the Dem's!
So good riddance to Pinky, maybe since he won't be majority leader anyone he will not run again in 2016.

Lots more will be sorted out by morning.
