I just noticed I failed to post the follow up pics on my 0% lower

This is the completed lower right after machining and bead blasting.

This is the lower after Gun Kote and lower parts kit installed.

And this is the EBR complete. I bought one of the M16A1 kits and had the new barrel parkerized.

And this is the Smith and Wesson 32 Lemon Squeezer my son in law gave me a month or so ago.

I noticed that myself, but to each their own. Even to the mad Glock stipplers out there.

You're right, the two 1911 pistols directly above your post are both Colt, the one on the left is an old model Combat Government .45 and the one on the right is a Government model .45 with Wilson Combat match barrel with compensator, also mostly Wilson Combat competition parts and Wolff springs.

Here's another of my ponies a Government model stainless steel.

My 4th pony out of my 4 total Colt 1911 pistols, it's an Officers Lightweight .45 ACP.

This is same as the top pic posted on 11/12/2011, 9mm AR at the top of that pic, my RRA A4 9mm carbine now with DD EZ CAR 7.0 rails, Surefire G2 light, and Beta C-Mag

My other pre ban Steyr AUG A1 20" barrel rifle

PolyTech pre ban Chinese AK with red polymer side folding stock and shown with optional AK-74 style muzzle brake

Those tacticals are sexy. I have wanted one of the 4.15's forever. With the new 4.0 they list a aluminum frame as a option. Maybe that should be the new carry gun

I am loving it. It fits my hand like a glove. On it's first outing I was running .11 splits, which is my fastest yet. Ran jacketed, lead, and hollow point through it without a hitch too. I have been carrying this thing since I broke it in at the range. Totally an STI convert, an Edge may be next.

What caliber? Currently shoot IDPA, but was thinking about getting one in 9mm for fun factor and shooting USPSA with it. Still, my group is planning on shooting USPSA soon. A friend of my shoots his Tactical in USPSA currently. The tactical isn't legal in CDP in IDPA due to the bull barrel, but the Carson club said they will let it slide.

If you read the giant letters on the slide they say 40. 40 is the only way to go if you want to be competitive in Limited. 9mm is more fun to shoot but you give up points shooting minor. If you just want to do it to have fun I say get the 9mm and shoot the cheap ammo. Local guy shoots a edge in 9mm and does just fine with it.  In fact I am going to Fallabama to shoot it right now

Damn, teaches me to drink and post! Yeah, that was my debate as to caliber, .40 is cheap enough to load and we have tons of brass for it.

My latest project.

Thureon Defense 9mm, .40sw, or .45 using Glock mags.

This one is .45 acp, next step is a lock for the bolt to eliminate action noise.
