I just received an email about Clark
http://www.sheriffclarkeforsenate.com/
Ok this is my first attempt at posting a link on the new site. I put in the URL. What goes in the next box?
The second box is
whatever text you want to show up.
Or you could just put the link in both boxes so people can see the link before clicking on it.
http://www.sheriffclarkeforsenate.com/
Or,
Sheriff Clarke for Senate
The second box is to just call it what you want.
Also,
a word to the wise... that this link is to an astroturf group, a "fake PAC" essentially. It's in essence a legal scam. You do all the paper filing to create your organization, you can make flyers, run a web page, collect donations etc. and 95% of them go to the salary and "operating costs" of the organization. Much like the various fake chaities that get exposed of only giving a few percent of what they collect to the actual cause. Or kind of like the GOA, or our own local Corey Graff and his "Wisconsin Gun Owners" fake group. In this case, Sheriff Clarke for Senate is run by some lawyer named Jack Daly, who's out of North Carolina.
The good news is that right now the "big money" is in fake PACs that are for "Helping fight Donald Trump" and most of the fleecing across America is coming from liberals.
If and when Clarke is running for something, and you want to donate,
donate to his actual campaign when he has one. Or at least, donate to one of the known
real groups involved in Wisconsin and National conservative politics. Like Wisconsin Club for Growth.

Wasn't there some grumblings about Clarke not being 100% RKBA??
No sign off on NFA stuff???
I don't know anything about the man just seem to recall reading something about it. I do like when he is on Vicki McKenna's show, sounds like a real conservative.
It's true that he didn't sign on NFA for a long time. And as the CCW battle ramped up in Wisconsin, he was on record on the radio before 2010 being wishy-washy for awhile about that too. Although now he's known for his "We won't get there in time, you should get trained and protect yourself" ads on the radio.
Of course, now with rule 41p on trusts or whatever it is, it's moot, since now your CLEO only needs a duplicate "notification" copy sent to their office, and you don't have to do anything beyond that, and there's nothing an anti-NFA CLEO can do, unless he's got good cause to complain to the ATF because you're a felon. Although I've heard some anecdotal reports that in the past year before the rules changed Clarke was signing NFA forms finally.
When it comes to politicians, I don't really care if they truly support the pro-RKBA positions I want them to have in their heart or whatever. I only care how they vote and govern, and that they do so consistently and don't backpedal etc. And on that basis, Clarke has only continued to improve.
