Any idea how long the state is taking to renew the  CCW?

It has been a couple months since I did mine, but I thought the process was quick.  If I recall, the envelope arrived in two weeks or less.

Amazingly fast. Same day service....literally.

I applied for renewal on a monday morning (Columbus Day...thought they'd be closed) and my new license was in my mailbox on Wednesday. TWO days, and I'm 2 days from Madison by mail. Date of renewal was date I applied, the postmark on the envelope was from tuesday (post office was closed on monday, Columbus Day).

It was so fast, it has me believing that when they send your renewal notice out, that's when they do your background check, and when you renew on-line and they get your money, they process & mail your card ASAP.

Either that or I applied on an incredibly slow day.

Got mine 5 days after I sent it in.

I received my CCW today.  Did the renewal Sat night.   It was renewed Sunday the 18th.  2 business days I am impressed.

E-Renewal on the 27th, mid-morning. Issued on the 27th. Mailed on the 27th. Received on the 29th.    A government process that is actually working like it should.

e renewal on Wednesday 1/11, had renewed license in my hand on 1/14. Renewal process is efficient and fast.
