MId-State like the Dells?
Driving north-south in IL is hell, I've done that trip many times.  If it is the Dells area be aware there are couple indian reservations dotted in there, which can be legally messy.
You are not legally required to inform a cop but I'm told it's a nice courtesy if you get pulled over. |

I have family in the Milwaukee area and would say they were going up North when they went to Richland Center (between Madison and La Crosse). It's like people forget that there's anything above Madison. Quote HistoryQuoted:

Going "down south" would be a trip to Fleet Farm.... in Antigo.

Well, after a 12+ hour journey, finally home with my new (to me) South Bend 9A lathe. Can't wait to get a table fabricated and get her all dialed in.
*ETA* Chitcago can lick my ass, especially the drivers up there. How the hell there was so much traffic on a Saturday is unbelievable. Speed limit signs mean nothing up there. |
