I was caught by surprise that we have a primary election this month.   There are 3 people running.   We are suppose to vote for 1.
top 2 go on to the general election.

Here are the three
Rebecca G. Bradley
JoAnne F. Kloppenburg
Joe Donald

Rebecca G. Bradley is the justice up for election.  She was  appointed by Walker.

I know nothing about any of them.
Who do we want.     Bradley because Walker appointed her?

Bradley is by far the most conservative of the bunch.

Mrs. Grumpy asked me about Bradley yesterday & after doing some research, Mrs. G said that she liked what she saw.

That explains the damn Kloppenburg signs lately.

You don't want Kberg.

So it is on 2/16/16.  I bet low turn out, maybe we can all go and tank the KBerg.

A few years back, didn't K-Berg lose to Prosser in an election?

Yes. It was close too. Normally, Prosser would have won by a landslide, since supreme court races are normally snoozers, but the libs were still in major butthurt/attack mode over walker and did major campaigning on her behalf.

This is why it's important to get out and vote during these "minor" elections.

I was #123(out of a town of 8,000) at 9am. I was shocked that many voted that early.

This was just a primary?  I must be new to this because I don't recall primaries for local/state level elections.

Polling place wasn't busy, but the people working it seemed to be running on idle.  Wondering if working at a snail's pace is going to be their way of attempting to sabotage the ID thing.  I was only 3rd in line and it seemed to take an abnormal amount of time to get my ballot.  It will be a nightmare to vote during the presidential election when the lines are 20X longer.

Primary was necessary, because there were too many candidates for the general election.  I'm not sure why you can run 3 candidates for a non-partisan seat, but my wife and I went out and voted anyway.  I was #11 at 8am and she was #75 at 1pm in a city of Racine ward.

If Kloppenberg wins, it's a scary situation.  She's as activist as they come and not fit for any supreme court role.

Yup.

You guys better show up in April for the general election. Bradley needs every vote she can get.   Going to be tight.

Bradley was top vote getter with 45%, but Kloppenburg wasn't far behind with 43%, and Donald had 12%. So in the final election, depending on which way Donald's 12% goes now that he's out, it could be trouble.

Keep in mind the only statewide race was this one.  In Apr we will be having a presidential primary along with it.  This should add more people.   The way things are going in the first few states the REP/Conservative side will be larger.                                  I hope.

My SO and I weren't able to vote in the primary, but will definitely vote in the general election.
