Eau Claire Walmart had Qty 2 boxes of Federal Auto Match .22lr.  I got those.

Eau Claire Scheels had 1 RUGER BX-25 magazine that an older fella got before I could type this.

Chippewa Falls Walmart had some .223 Supremo Winchester loads for $30.47.  I took a pass.  Too rich for me.

Still searching...

ETA 1-31-2013

Boom to Zoom, never had been there before and see absolutely no reason to ever go there again.  $100.00 Ruger BX-25 mag that was $39.99 at Scheels.  "I can not cut my own throat."-Tactical Guy to some dude.  "Gunbroker... blah, blah, blah...", "going rate", etc...  That shop blows, not sure if that is all it ever was, but it blows.

$50.00 Pmags, $35 Okay Gi Mags.  Ridiculous ammo prices.

Waupaca FF has 333 and 555 Winchester .22LR in stock.   Point FF has lots of 7.62X39, even Winchesr USA Brand.

Back home now.

Heard some pretty disturbing stuff about the short fat tactical a-hole at Boom to Zoom, from a friend that I trust absolutely.  Watch that dude.

Milwaukee & Kenosha Gander Mtn. - nothing

Milwaukee & Kenosha Walmart - nothing

Racine Dicks - nothing

Kenosha Dicks  -  6 boxes of Independence 556  $8.99 per Box --- I got the last box @6:45pm.

Im tired of driving around & wasting gas.  The stores around here are out of everything, 22, 9mm, 223/556.  Milwaukee Walmart hasnt restocked ammo in 2 months, Farm & Fleet  Has quit selling ammo entirely.  The current hot item is Scissors- buy as many as you can before they ban em.

Farm and Fleet hasn't stopped selling ammo. They get shipments in here and there, but divide them up between stores.

Just to give you an idea, last week they got around 12 boxes of 555 in...they told me one guy came in and bought 6 boxes and the rest was gone in an hour.

Its pretty bad out there for ammo, with most companies back ordered until October...

My buddy just bought a Colt 6920 for $1097 pre-tax at Walmart in La Crosse on Thursday.
He said the DPMS was $790. The Sig M400 was $1390 in the store.
I did not know they even sold Colts or black guns at all.
He said he gets them on the site and picks them up in store?

He emailed me before leaving for HOA.

I am lost. Can you backorder and wait for pick-up? Anybody done this B4?

East side Green Bay Fleet Farm had nothing for any flavor of .223 or 5.56 (someone even bought up the frangible crap AFAIK).

I wasn't looking at specifics but they had plenty of random 12ga, .270, 30.06, and 7.62. They also had some specific brands of 9mm,  .45, and some CCI copper point .22lr. I'm pretty much going to save what little of my ar-15 ammo I have for defensive use. A lot more precision shooting and shotgunning are in my future me thinks

If anyone needs me to check on specifics, I live right down the road, and can look for w/e next time I pop in.

V,
The Fox Valley Walmarts do not stock the 6920s.  The central and western parts of the state do.  So your buddy got lucky.  I just had a 6920 on my kitchen table won at a raffle in NE WI, not by me.

Eau Claire and Wausau were the closest stores that I had seen them at.  That was during hunting season. September-October 2012.

Good to know.  Now we can all trip over one another as we beeline to the sporting goods section.

I was at Cabela's in Richfield last weekend and they had tons of 9mm ammo in stock. It was Cabela's brand 9mm (Herter's), but I bought 500 just to test it out. Fired 200+ and not one FTF, FTE, or any malfunction. Went back the next day and bought another 500 to have some on-hand. Dunno if it's still there or not, but they had bunches of boxes on an end of the aisle display by the targets. Other than that, I haven't seen much, if anything, in stock anywhere. Glad I bought 1k of 5.56 the night Obama got re-elected for 360.

That Prvi 9mm is in stock at Saukville WalMart, too.  Out of the federal 100rd boxes though (someone bought them all over a few days... )

I'm really hurting for the 333/555 packs of WWB .22lr to feed my .22lr AR trainer.  I'm down below 1K rounds of it, and that won't last long.  The guy at Walmart said he hadn't seen it come through in some time, so I might try FF over in Germantown or West Bend next time I'm passing by.  I just can't afford to make special trips to anywhere and spend time out hunting for it, so I'm betting on happenstance for now and stopping in the local stores every few days.

Hrmmm.   I just image searched that too.  Not what I Was going for.  LOL

Cabelas had no 22 cal bullets, no 30 cal bullets, maybe half a dozen random pounds of powder, no primers, no 223 ammo, no 308 ammo, and limited selection of 22LR (the expensive stuff).

Didn't pay any attention to their gun stock, I was only interested in components.

No 223 dies, either.

Reloading manuals pretty picked over.  Equipment seemed...   Low?  But there was at least one of most of everything I guess.

Depending on what you're looking for, it could be worth a trip, but if I were you, I'd go another 20 minutes North to Midwestern Shooters Supply.
