Just passed through that area after home showings. Rawson is blockaded at Farm & Fleet (6th Street?), though F&F is still open. Your only option is to make a U-turn unless you happen to live right there. Howell southbound is blockaded at Rawson & Howell and traffic is being diverted east or west. Not sure where they've closed off Howell going northbound.

Prayers for the victims, families, and for that hero of a police officer(s). Heroes in every sense of the word.
At the very least, this has snapped my wife out of sheep-mode. Our kids went to daycare VERY VERY close to there. She shops blocks away. We live less than 2 miles away. She was one of those "never happen here" types, rolled her eyes when I lectured her on situational awareness and personal security, but told me today that she will carry everywhere from now on. Her eyes are now open and God willing will never be a victim. I plan on visiting that temple and making donations to them in the very near future. |
