THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
As repayment for years of snow blowing his driveway my elderly neighbor gave me his collection of firearms. I need help identifying this revolver. The only markings it has is matching serial numbers on the cylinder and the bottom of the grip frame. The H on the grip panel made me first think it was a HR or High Standard, but nether idea lead anywhere. It looks to be a .38 or .32 cal (but I haven't checked yet) I also haven't taken off the grips to look for more markings yet.

Any info would be great.

It looks like a Smith & Wesson Model 10 38 spec.
Although older then the one I have.
Got any pics of the right side of the pistol?
With the landyard ring it may have been military issued.

Perhaps a Spanish copy/knockoff of a Smith. Anything under the grips or inside crane?

Well Colt and S&W both had cylinders that rotated counter clockwise not sure how many others atm though. The marking on the grip looks like there is an H there. have to hunt up my reference book here.

Did a bit of searching. It is a Spanish copy, monogram on grips is OH for Orbea Hermanos.
