Can I keep a pistol in my car or hotel room in CO if I don't have a CCW? Legal in my state but just want to be sure.

All I have are 12rd clips, is that OK? What if I only load 10 in them?

Thank you

What Dave said.  You can load your magazines to full capacity.  Purchasing new magazines are limited to 15 rounds.  Unless you purchase as a "parts kit" which is available in pretty much every gun store.

In car or hotel room should be fine even with no CCW

There's no "should be."   It's fine

You should put an asterisk behind that 15 rnd statement.  Greater capacity mags are legally allowed if you had them before the law went into effect.

Actually, you didn't.   OP asked nothing about purchasing magazines.

I refuse to answer people who don't know the difference between a clip and a magazine.
