Friend of a friend of mine is having a hard time lately. He lives in Pueblo, and if his FB page is an indicator, he's having a hell of a time finding work.

I asked him for a quick resume, hoping one of our arfcom members in the area might know of some job leads. Here's a quick rundown:

0481 Landing Support Specialist Red Patch (I believe he has a deployment)
2 of 15 years as a paid Firefighter
15 years in pest control, 12 of those as a manager
Apprentice painter, electrician, stamped concrete, and carpentry

Any help would be appreciated. I cannot personally vouch for the guy, just seems like he's in a tough spot. Figured I'd try to help a vet if I could. Any leads can be sent IM or as a reply in the thread. I'll forward the information to him.

Thanks,
Peengwin

Tell him to get out of Pueblo and move to the Denver area! He should be working in a few days if he wants to.

If he's a vet, he should have registered with the pueblo job services, if he hasn't already.. They connect him with the local vet rep. If he's like most vets and ready to work, he'll be employed before end of week.

Send me an IM with a contact number or a location he can visit to apply. If he's really wanting work, he can make the effort to contact you.

Thanks, I'll pass this along to him.
