I travel to Colorado very frequently for work, usually based around the denver area. I work in oil and gas and thus get around quite a bit of the state.

I'm looking for good places to eat, things to see, cool destinations etc. I don't ski so we can skip that but otherwise I'm pretty open to new experiences. I've been hiking quite a bit around the area and sometimes I am able to do overnight trips. I'm aware of how well known the beer is and I'm working through sampling all the little breweries I can find

That seems like fun, is there a raft season? Do you have anyone you would recommend?

It's been awhile since I've been on one.  Raft season is spring and summer.

Hike Pikes peak - one long day 26 mile round trip or 13 miles up. Hit me up if interested this summer my wife and I have hiked it both ways and I am always willing for another slog up the hill.

Curious, can you hike up Pikes and Camp then hike out on a day two?

Check 14ers.com.  I think there may be camping.  I'm sure you know, but just in case, you want to do that at least in late June if not later.

Will it be to cold in SEP/OCT time frame? I won't be in the area until then.

yes to the camping, there is barr camp and the national forest. It can be warm during that frame but cold/snow is a possibility esp. Oct. Late August is the latest I've been up the peak.
