THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Hi everyone! I recently joined the site and have lived in the Springs for just short of a year now. I'm active duty stationed at Peterson. I'm just starting my research into SBRs. I'm new to the whole NFA Class III thing, so I'm giving due diligence in researching and getting smart on it. I know I want one, just haven't decided when because of the fact that I'm active duty and moving around so much. I may just decide it's too much of a hassle while in the military and wait until I'm out and settled down. But of course, who wants to wait???

So my question is, does anyone have an SBR AR in the Springs that is willing to let me shoot it? I've never shot one before except for the M4, but I'm looking for something even shorter, less than 10". I haven't decided on caliber yet, so any will do. I'm a member at Whistling Pines indoor range and will get you in for a session. I will provide my own ammo and targets, of course. Oh yeah, and only legal owners, please... I don't want to get caught up in anything that will risk my career.

Thanks,
PJ

I have a 10.5" LMT you can try out. And a 5" .22. But I am in Littleton so not too close to you. We could hit the family shooting center near me if you want to try it out some weekend. I also have a SBR'd HK 94 to shoot if you like.

Your HK-94 was one of the most fun SBR's I've had the opportunity to shoot thus far.
Have you donated to your local volunteer fire department lately?

Everyone likes to try it out. So close to a MP5 minus the happy switch .

Do you have the 18K to loan me? Otherwise I will just stay in the shallow end of the NFA pool.

I don't even have the cash to buy a HK-94 like yours...

I don't have an SBR, but I do have a PLR 16 you're welcome to shoot. It is tons-o-fun and not expensive. I'm also a member out at Whistling Pines, maybe we can hook up there.

I don't have a 10" or shorter (in 5.56mm) but I have a 4" .22LR upper and a 12.5" upper.

Oh OK, no problems. Well, if I make that decision to go forward, it might very well be here. Depends on where the military wants to send me next.
