Used to be a Propane refilling at the gas station at E Iliff and S parker road, but not sure if they still have the propane tank at that location or not (been a while since I have been slumming down that way).
But the question comes down to if you are going to have a few tanks filled at the same time, or just going to have a single tanked filled. For me, it will cost more in truck fuel to have a single tank filled if I have to drive far for such, so I either hit Home depot or Albertsons off of E-470 at Smokey hill and have one of the tanks just swapped out there when needed.
As for the reason for swapping out tanks instead of refilling them as the norm, there are some old tanks out there that will not pass inspection (read blew up when being filled since no one as checking to see if the tanks where current inspected or not), and instead of making everyone now hydrostatic pressure test the tanks before filling/ have a valid current inspection marking on the tank, they just inspect the tanks when they clean them up and refill them at the plant.
