Seeing older names pop in in the Bobbity "callout thread" inspired this.
Ebb and flow Rise and Flow It happens The WAHTF used to be the most "active" of the Hometowm forums (for good or bad); there's no need to rehash the decrease in traffic but what does the current active group need for more interaction and to draw more board members in? I've seen recently selfish offers for gunsmith services. Would like to see a recommendation for an engraver in the far North of Seattle of East of the Cascades. I know we have a winery connection, any brewers? If you post something relatable you may be surprised how many folks will know it. In the gun world you aren't very many steps removed from any other person and fuck the I5 corridor WA is a gun full state. |

I dug the FNRL thread out of the archives and skimmed it recently, that was the high point for me. Lots of good memories and good friends in that thread.

I do miss my fights with GrumpyM4. Ahhh the good old days.
Dabunny is hopping around here somewhere. Hopefully not on my screen name since I think I forgot to log off after I used his computer last week. |

I never made it there but if I had a bucket list it would be a line item. |

There was a screen shot floating around with the WAHTF with a padlock next to it for a while. I am sure someone here still has it. There was also one for the ORHTF.

I remember the big lock. We used to have the biggest and most active HTF on the site. Get togethers, shoots and build parties were common. I even remember the massive group buy of tannerite where a member drove to Oregon and brought back a literal ton plus from the factory.

There was a GD thread about which HTF was the best WA or TX and the WA membership killed them with responses. Recall seeing another member stating hey TXHTF you guys just got schooled by a bunch of pale soggy coffee drinking guys was kinda cool to be part of that. I REALLY need to get to an LCR been a couple years since I have been.
ETA: and that Neo kat that would get folks riled up Sir James... |

Gah!!! I've been wanting to do a Kryptek Yeti or white pattern gun for awhile (maybe my 458SOCOM SBR) And my CZ TS (frame at least) could use some color. View Quote OC is legit. They also did my SBR engraving, so it was a 1-stop shop getting my SBR done and colored. Wish I had more to do, but it took me 13 years to get something besides black, and then all I got was gloss white! |

It's all fun and games until someone is getting their eyebrows shaved at an LCR.

My first WAHTF build happened in Razzles after a GF shoot. It got started when the beer was served and was finished before the hamburgers were done. View Quote Thanks again for the work cap you gave me at one of those shoots. I still have it, although I almost lost it once on a SCSO patrol boat a few years back. |

There are quite a few ARFcommers on Facebook. Makes GD look like a mensa meeting. But yes, many of use are on the spaceoffaces. |

I never made it to an lcr. I did go to a shoot at the lyttle pit once with a bunch of guys from here. I also met up with a few folks to shoot with a few times. Grumpym4, tweak, and pcr00 are a few of the screen names that I recall being pretty active but haven't seen for a while.
My only fal build was completed with tools and help from a member here, coyote, IIRC was his screen name. Coming here was like hanging out at the local bar with the regular crowd. Gun shows Used to be fun, because you'd run into folks from here. Id Love to see this place like it used to be. |
