Rainier Arms has 5.56 and 7.62x39 AK's in stock. They are not cheap, but they are in stock.

Not cheap sounds scary, haha. I'll check them out. Thanks!

Pantel Tactical in Renton.  They are a FFL/SOT and can also cutdown and make factory SBR's.

West Coast Armory in Bellevue, last time there they had a good wall of SBR's.  They are also a FFL/SOT and some are SBR's they created same as Pantel.

Just buy an M92 online for $500, F1 it and slap a stock on there.

Are any of these AK SBRs supressor ready with good, concentric muzzle threads.

The M92 is suppressor ready after you send it to Class 3 machining.

No such thing with any AK.  Just get a Dead Air Wolverine and not worry about non-concentric threads.

That's a bad ass can, but it'd be much much cheaper to just have your AKs threaded right and use whatever 30 cal can you already have with them. Presuming you have a 30 cal can, of course. I got rid of all my commie threads. 1/2x28 on all of 'em now.

you're prolly right, I just don't have the silencer bug for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I like shooting with them, but i also like things that make lots of noise...it's part of the fun. I've got an Octane 9HD, and I'n building a three F1 cans (556, 308, 458), but that'll prolly be it for me.

Do you have a drill press?

No, I'm going to buy a mini mill sometime between now and when my parts arrive. I have some time, DM tends to take at least 6 months on custom orders, usually more like a year...

He has more Intel than I do...But if I was you I wouldn't schedule any engraving appointments just yet. DM is awesome, and I'm getting my parts from them so don't get me wrong, but speedy delivery on custom stuff isn't exactly their calling card. If that has changed recently, awesome!
