I will be moving in to my new place on the 3rd and will not be working until the 9th so I'm looking for a few places to stretch out my rifles and maybe a place I can set up steel targets

Inna woodz.

I used to make the drive out to the Kitsap range...but haven't been since all the shenanigans shut it down.

The locations of WA HTF organized shoots and general shooting locations can be a sensitive issue. We have chosen to be discreet about sharing the information in the open forum, to protect & ensure our future use of them. Asking for coordinates or driving directions to a place to shoot besides commercial clubs and ranges, will seldom get answered directly, or in a positive light. Our sport has been at the mercy of unfortunate political trends more and more, but through intelligent choices, we can continue enjoying our freedoms without further undue harassment or limitations.

Get a DNR and USFS map and start looking.
Most areas are closed to public shooting "near Everett".
That or they are blocked in by snow this time of the year.

Sorry I'm from PA where shooting is generally excepted. All the hippie libtards in the greater seattle area are my number one concern with moving to Washington. I hoping to take my brother out shooting before he Flys home. Where can I pick up a map that will shoe me some locations? Are there any clubs within about 75 miles with a 300-600 yard range or just 100. Also where is the best shop for reloading supplies & such? Also I would be interested in any events coming up as I would like to meet some local enthusiasts.

There is an Indoor range at Airport Rd, and Highway 99 in Everett.

Also an indoor range on 172nd street in Arlington.

The outdoor shooting in the woods, is getting harder, and harder to find, but after a bit... You will catch on. We keep it pretty quiet, and don't post them on the net. Honestly, the range I use the most is in Wenatchee on the other side of the pass.

That should get you started.

Maps won't show you "specific" locations, you need to understand the laws.
http://www.dnr.wa.gov/go#target-shooting
https://www.fs.fed.us/visit/know-before-you-go/shooting

You can get a map at any of the district headquarters offices of the USFS or DNR.
You might also try at local sporting goods stores (REI, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Big5, etc.)
One line. Google, it's a motherfucker.

Since we don't know WHERE you live it's kind of hard to give specific information.
If only there was a link on the WA Hometown Forum with information about shooting areas...

Read the page and follow the links.

You're starting off on the wrong foot...

The title of the thread says Everett so I am asking for reloading supplies in the Everett area other than cabelas. I was more looking for an outdoor club than just shooting in the woods. I was hoping for feedback on local clubs hopefully with 300yard plus ranges. When I mentioned shooting range I thought a club was implied. Most forums people help each other when a ? Is asked but I guess not this one.

"Everett" is a pretty large area, as I think we have discussed before.

As far as reloading supplies, Skagit Arms in Burlington and Adventure Sports in Lynnwood generally have decent stocks.

I mainly check out Cabela's for the $20/1k S&B primers and sometimes, sometimes they have H4350 and other hard to finds.

Some of the old timers are grouchy and cliquish, don't let it ruffle you.

Skagit shooting range just down the road seems to have a bit better pricing. Skagit Arms has a better selection though, Kesselrings up the road a ways has a very nice selection ....But they are a but pricey......

Gosh golly gee, if only someone had posted a link to a spot on the WA hometown forum page that has posts about shooting ranges in Washington State.
Of course they'll have to do a little searching on the internet.

We don't do implied.

Implied is for libtards.

Instead of that (above), why not this?

"Hey WA people, my name is Tim300wsm.
I am moving to WA because ???????????????????
I am going to be living in the Everett area.
I like to shoot my ????????????????
What I am looking for is a 300 yard range near Everett where I can shoot my ??????????????? with my brother before he has to leave.
Please don't hold the fact that I am from PA.
Shit, at least I am not a dirty California transplant!"

"Hey KA3B, thanks for posting that link to all of the great WA Hometown Forum information.
I looked around and found a couple of places that look interesting.
The third post is for a place called the Plantation Range.
It has a 300 yard range.
I checked out the link to the web page, it's dead.
I did a quick Google search and found the correct link.
http://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/1931/Plantation-Rifle-Range
It's about an hours drive from Everett.
Have you shot at that range KA3B?
What's your opinion of that range?"

"Wow, I checked out another link and found a place called The Kenmore Range.
http://www.wcwinc.org/range/rifle.html
It's about 16 miles from Everett.
It has a 300 meter range.
Sweet!
Have you ever shot there KA3B?"

"Oh hey KA3B, you posted that link to the shooting event pinned to the top of the WA Hometown forum page called  LCR January GTG - what is that all about?
When I looked at the WA Hometown information page I found a FAQ section from someone called "Da Bunny".
I typed in LCR ar15.com and found this Youtube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbwY2hEgJoM
I also found a link to another FAQ about "LCR" - http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=445
Can you tell me more about this event?"

That's just me though.
And I am easy, did you see the WAHTF Questionnaire http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=644...oh wait, no you didn't...
