I saw a snowflake. I am sandbagging, building a range card and starting an IV drip.

I had to use a team of mules to make it out of my driveway......
What a fucking joke these last two days have been. Here's what happened in January 1834 at Fort Nisqually. Tuesday 14 Sent off five men in a boat to Fort Langley for some supplies and for the accounts of that place for Outfit 1833. I would have gone myself had I a proper person to leave in charge here. The rest of the men employed sawing and roofing the dwelling house. Snowed heavily in the afternoon. Wednesday 15 Two men sawing, two cutting firewood & two sick. Weather frosty, snowed heavily during the night. Traded 15 Made Beaver. Thursday 16 The men employed as yesterday. Snowed much during last night and this day. No trade. Friday 17 Had the last of the covering of the Big House put on. Owing to the badness of our saw, and sawyers, we make but slow progress at cutting boards, as indeed we have done all along at every kind of work owing to the incapacity of our people. Those not employed at the covering of the house, were occupied at cutting and hauling home firewood. Weather very cold. Saturday 18 The people all employed at cutting and bringing home firewood. The weather continues very cold, and there is about two feet deep of snow on the ground. Sunday 19 Weather as yesterday. Monday 20 All hands employed squaring logs for Bastions, and hauling the same home with Oxen. The people are such bad squarers that a great part of this work already done is useless. Weather still frosty Tuesday 21 The people employed as yesterday. Weather rather milder than for some days past, but no thaw. Little doing in the way of trade. Wednesday 22 The people employed as last stated, viz. squaring and hauling home oak logs for Bastions. Weather still cold and the snow undiminished. We'd be eating each other if we had 2+ feet of snow. 1" cancels flights |

I miss real snow.
I personally hate it when the imported news personalities get on air and talk about how they all hope that the snow doesn't come |

Well its sunny and about 20* at my house in Eastern WA. No sign of snow here...

Pretty sad here at the moment (on southeastern edge of Eatonville). Snowing with about 1/4" so far. Picking up in intensity and wind has also picked up. Definitely an altitude thing. Nothing doing when I left Spanaway about 45 minutes ago.
Cans of Wolf Chili and Kirkland toilet paper on standby..... Attached File |

Bellevue Transit Center had some serious wind gusts about 5pm.
Plow trucks roaming about. Chain crews getting ready to deploy to the Transit Centers. Radio said snow at JBLM at that time. I'll peek out the window at 0340 to see if I want to go in early. 30-foot coach on cable chains and no snow is not a fun drive. |

Started snowing at 2200.
Still snowing hard, the temp outside the house is 30, the cell phone says 34. It will be a shitty drive to work tomorrow. Lots of fucktards. |

Skagit county, I have....a light dusting on my lawn. All I can think is "GET OFF MY LAWN". Oh and the kids have a late start at school.

SnoCo https://mrzeat.com/misc/snow.12.9.16.jpg I went out about 12:30a in my truck just to see what the conditions were like, it was still pretty cold, but I made it up the steep hills around here just fine in 2wd... Now when it warmed up and got slick, not sure, but that's ok, working from home today. View Quote |

Snowing in Enumclaw at the moment. Been freezing rain most of the day and last night.
At 4 am when I left for work in Renton the roads were GTG. but ice was building on the cars. Left work at 1130 and had decent roads for most of the trip with slush on ice in Maple Valley @ 4 Corners. Road cleared up into Black Diamond and the rest of the way home. Came home to 1/4 inch sheet ice on everything. Fixing to go move the travel trailer since its parked under a tress that is getting pretty heavy with ice on the branches. |

Last night was a mess in Snohomish County. Wet snow caused some early issues in a number of places but it just rained along Hwy 2 out to Gold Bar, right around 2am it got just cold enough for it to freeze. Just in time for the bars to close. Hwy 2 and 522 became skating rinks. Not enough state troopers to go around and several county fire rigs were involved in collisions. Warmed up enough to thaw the roadways around 4am and then promptly refroze around 5-6am.
Definitely some unusual ice conditions for Western WA. |

Other than a dusting and some ice this morning, we were pretty tame. I was driving back from the South today and stopped in Seatac on my way north and they got a good 4 inches out there. Back up here in south snoco, nothing. |
