If you are in the north end and have a Henry survival rifle (the take down model that the barrel fits into the stock), can you shoot me an IM.  I'd like to ask you a couple questions.

Thanks

I had one, let it go to a begging friend moving away.

Wish I kept it. Either they work or they don't. That one did. Great little rifle.

I also had one but regretfully let it go.  AR7 is the model number and you can usually pick them up pretty cheap.  Mine was a good little rifle.  I have been keeping my eye open for another but I just have a few different things that are a little higher on my want list right now.  What questions do you have?

Got one from a neighbor who was moving away.

Fun little shooter. Debating trying to figure out how to thread the barrel.

Do I recall correctly- plastic barrel with sleeve?

I assume threaded barrel is not plastic- may effect floatability???

No , If I remember right, the barrel is a rifled steel liner within a aluminum body... (At least on my old Charter Arms AR-7)

The floatation comes from the stock (foam filled and has a cap to capture air inside the cavity...

Any reason you can't ask your questions publicly?

OK, Who's got one I can borrow for 7 weeks for a solo trip into Canadian Rockies?  Everything I am taking is being carried in on my back.

When I get back, if its damaged, I'll replace it.

Wish I would have seen your response before I took off. I left on the 27th of sept. and just got home yesterday.  I REALLY could have used it.  Thank you for the offer though.  Might need it next year though!
