I'm hoping to purchase 6 stripped AR receivers within the next week or so and I was wondering who offers a reasonable FFL transfer fee in the Seattle/Tacoma area... I'm in the Auburn area, but willing to driver down to the Ft. Lewis area or up north to the Shoreline area, if the price is right.

Not looking for anything that's free since a business needs to pay the bills, but at the same time, I'm not looking to get raped in the process...  Not knocking Rainier Arms at all since they're a stand-up business with good people working at all levels, but paying $50 per transfer AND paying taxes on the S&H fees on the firearm being transferred, kind of sucks...  I understand paying taxes on the actual items, but don't think its too "Kosh" to pay taxes on the S&H... IMHO, but "I" could be wrong.

Thanks for looking and for any leads!!

$25 per transfer.  If you have five receivers or rifles or whatever come in from the same dealer, then it counts as one transfer.

Two rifles from two different people on different days, you pay for two transfers.

Quantico $15/Brads $25/MD firearms  in Tacoma $30 -  are who I've used in Pierce Co. for transfers. 99% of my transfers are through Brads, the other 2 have been for person to person when the other guy wanted to stay close to Tacoma or do the deal when Brad's was closed.

Quantico won't take possession of the firearm in a "person to person" transfer if one of the parties gets delayed, so you have to meet there a 2nd time when the delayed guy gets a proceed. My only complaint with using them as a buyer.

I use Hildebrand Enterprises (near West Seattle) for transfers. The fee is $20 for the first firearm and $10 for each additional in same transaction, and the owner is great to deal with.
