Came home in time to catch the ending. That was a nail biter...

Well done sir. Go Hawks!
I feel good about this year. There is a wealth of talent this year that I think was lacking last year on the offensive side of the ball. We will see. My predictions: Michael will fall down every time he is touched. Although, he is doing better this year than years previous. Clark will have a monster year. Lockett/Baldwin will have monster years. Pope will make the team and have big season. Watching him at practice and at the games....he has next-level speed and has great balance. Boykin will be our backup. Any other predictions? |

Anyone know a good way to get Seahawks tickets at this point? Girlfriend really wants to get her dad to a game; yet everywhere I'm looking it appears $300 a ticket.

I predict I won't be able to afford to go to any games this season...
Several of our draft picks looked pretty darn good. Don't want to injure anyone during preseason though. |

That's a serious WTF baseball score the Raiders have going on...
|
|
They checked the TV ratings at the beginning of the 4th quarter and said, "Uh oh, we better do something."
|
|
It was actually a pretty good game in the 4th.
Raiders are looking good. |

So some players are going to sit for the national anthem on Sept. 11?

|
Some really lucky breaks today too. The dropped pass, the blocked FG, etc.

Why was the last play of the game not a 2 point safety yesterday?

Why was the last play of the game not a 2 point safety yesterday? View Quote I was wondering the same thing, and I believe it is because initial contact from the defense was outside the end zone, and the tackle carried the QB into the end zone, while contact between the two was never broken. Now, had the defensive player knocked the QB into the end zone but not downed him, and the QB then scrambled around inside the end zone and was subsequently tackled, it would have been a safety. Consider a screen pass behind the line, when the receiver is instantly hit by the defense and driven backward. They spot the ball at the point of contact, not the point where the tackle is completed. Same thing. |

commentator stated the clock was zero before the play was over.

The official 87 page NFL Rules .pdf refers to the impetus of the play on a safety.
I guess that means if the defense drives the ball carrier behind the goal line before the end zone tackle, it's no safety. Which happened Sunday as I recall. I didn't really believe they simply made a mistake on a score, but was unsure why it wasn't a safety. |

They played like garbage. But the Vikings vs Packers game was pretty good.

Where is their offense? View Quote Their O line is terrible, they don't have beast mode to make it look better, and Wilson can't scramble as well as he usually can. Until some of that is fixed this team (the offense) is going to blow chunks. The truly scary part for seahawk fan is that both of the teams they have played thus far suck. What are the gonna do when they play the cards, packers, pats etc.? Not win, that's what. I think they should go for draft picks...and draft big uglies. |
|
That's a win baby! Bam Bam Kam was on it today, not sure how Wilson is doing after that bad tackle.
|
|
Supposedly the 49'ers D was good, didn't look it today. O line looked good today, everything was clicking cause Russell could move, until the tackle.
I think Treyvon Boykin would surprise people if He has a chance to play |
|
|
He should have never gone back in the game.
Shades of Mike Shanahan and RGIII |

Weird, I looked all over for this thread an hour ago and could not find it.
Anyways, ugly win be ugly win! |

No shit, I thought that Richard Sherman was going to get arrested for assaulting Coolio Jones.

I swear the SeaHawks are the Black Sheep Squadron of the NFL. and I'll take it

A lot of commentators discussing the non-PI call at the end.
|
|
You win some calls you lose some calls. A questionable call it was. I've seen way worse.

|
What's happened with the missed field goal? I heard that there was some kind of bad snap. We were only getting text updates during that time and can't find any replays of it.

What a crappy POS of a game. Trading shanked field goals for a tie?
I want my hours back..... |
|
They should just bench Hauschka in Arizona...
Hell of a sad struggle though, offensive got nothing done again :( |
