Easy solution to that: Have one or more .mil members show up & 'sponsor' everyone as a guest...

If it was a weekend where I was free, I'd come down & say 'they're all with me'...

'Course, CavVet might not find that solution 'acceptable'... He doesn't like me much...

Ehh, I just figured whoever I bring is with me. Don't need a separate sponsor for each. I just wanted to cap it at 3 for the time being until I know how many are interested.

With that said, I only had 1 person with me on Sunday, so the interest may not be as great as I thought. The offer still goes though. I'll post when I'm going and if anyone wants to tag along we can figure it out from there.

I'm in Korea thru the first weekend in September. I'll be up for going when I get back. Sundays are usually easiest for me.

Not so great in 74. Pretty good 85-86. No fun at all in 90.

Yeah, I was here for a year before PCSing to JBLM. Curfew, and all the other stuff they do to try to keep the screw ups in line, kills it for everyone else. Thankfully just here for 3 weeks this time.

Was there in 07.

If you weren't an E-7 or above, it was like repeating AIT, for a whole damn year.

Just a heads up for anyone interested. I'll be hitting the range again on Sunday. Have 1 spot already filled.

This won't be an all day thing unfortunately, I will only be there for 2-3 hours in the morning. Depending on how quickly I can run 500+ rounds through a 1911 and take a few shots through the 260.

Have plans in the PM so it's gotta be a quick one.

The offer is still open to bring anyone else who has interest.

So far I'm pretty sure everyone who has gone has bad a pretty good time. Met some good people too.

I'm trying to arrange a day this weekend but it's sort of up in the air. I'll post when I know more.

Anyone still do shooting trips? Ive been wanting to go to the range 15. Been stationed at JBLM for almost two years and still havent gone. I live in puyallup so its easier to just go up to the mountains.

Yes, and they were UFCKING EPIC !

Bobbity's Christmas parties were legendary.

LCR's were fun sporks and continuous rolling muzzle blasts from sun up to Ullr time.  Firing line tarps full of brass you would sweep aside to get a spot on the tarp.Tannerite made stuffed bears go fluffy side out. R32 was our leader and you are all ghey.

I still go. Though because of work I've not gone in a few weeks. Should start back up shortly.

Planning on going soon, as well. I'll finally have some glass on my FN SPR next week. Looking forward to putting some rounds through it.

So how does Range 15 work? Went out there last weekend and it was all locked up. Was during the hours on the site too.

What is the greatest distance at which one can shoot on range 15?
