Also notice how they don't say a word on where the replacement electricity is going to come from. They just talk vaguely about it's going to cost more and future upgrades to other dams.
Also, does anyone really believe there are 3 tribes that solely rely on salmon for their main food source?

I think it is more about the "ceremony" part.
It is their heritage to run up and down the rivers in jet boats throwing nets out. It is also their heritage to set up casinos on tribal land.

You folks do realize, that with the way treaties were wrote back in the day, that many tribes have far more rights, than us newcomers.
Living in the Flathead Valley of Montana, surrounded by three very prolific tribes, I see this shit all the time, and most of the time they get away with murder if they are so inclined! Stuff that some of do, we would be sitting in the jug for the rest of our life! |
