While we were home today we really got blasted by the wind, and heard a series of loud booms. ~100ft fir fell on neighbor's house, broke the skylight and sunk itself about 4ft below the roofline. Crushed one of their cars, did no damage to the one parked next to it, and missed the front of his work truck by literally 1ft. Helped as much as I could, but he had to get a friend out with an excavator to pull the section out of the roof and get things covered up. For some time we were isolated by several trees fallen on both sides of our exit from the main road. Around the same time our power was out up until late evening, so I tried out the new generator and we had a BBQ.

Hwy 2 is shut down in Skykomish. A bridge east of there is at risk of crumbling because the river destroyed the foundation.
Apparently poor maintenance. In the meantime the libtards spent millions on that retarded and corrupt new I405 HOV lane and Boston-like tunnel..
