Oh, that. it's for a DD, and according to a first hand account in the DD forum, apparently ATF is calling people up and asking them what kind of ammo they plan on using. Apparently about a week after he submitted that, he did get an approval. Not sure what they did during that time, but I presume if it was a F4 for a silencer or SBR the examiner would have just approved it and moved on to the next one.

Is this our week? I'm thinking next week, but who knows.
Anyone have a recommendation for an engraver on the east side? Spokane would be great, but I travel a lot so Tri cities or Wenatchee would work too. |

yeah, it should be happening any time now. Stay strong fellow WA SBR'ers!
I just wish my F4 from April would get approved. I paid for the item in early December of 2015. Be kinda nice to actually take possession sometime before I die of old age. |

I've been kinda guestimating by watching the NFA thread. As of a week ago, based on what was trending there I am thinking my June 9 form 1 submissions "should" be showing up around Friday. However, that doesn't take into consideration our WA June landslide, or the holidays. My current prediction is Dec 29- Jan 6.

From what I've seen, F4's seem to take a couple months longer than F1's. Have you seen the same?

No idea why, but individual F4s are going much faster than F4Ts are at the moment. If the outliers are ignored, it feels like eF1 are about 1.5 months ahead of F4Is, and 2 or 2.5 ahead of F4Ts. Considering how many outliers there are, though, wait times tend to be in the "who the hell knows" range. |

Just saw a report that a 6/6 eF1 submission got approved...so we're on the precipice my friends! The eStamps are comin' in next week, I can feel it!

Of course, paper forms are much less "first come, first served" than eforms seem to be if your form winds up in a pile on the wrong desk. |

FYI - Just got back two e-form 1's for suppressors that were submitted on 6/7 and I checked the two pending SBR's that I created on 6/7 and submitted on 6/9 have a control number that is a little more than 3500 away from the approvals I just received.
So.... Should see those e-form SBRs soon. I was hoping for a batch approval due to the suppressors but looks like they are going in order. Or the others will come later today? Either way I am stoked! |

I'm cautiously optimistic. Hoping for next Monday. Getting the receivers ready for engraving now.

The floodgates have opened for WA state. I got my 6/9 submission back this morning. Dozen other members of the local Facebook group got some back as well. One dude got 6 back within 30 mins this morning.

I received my 4 eFile Form 1s this morning over an 11 minute period. All PDF attachments were good to go. What a day!

Then Portland issued a chains required on all vehicles and I had none, high tailed it home and grabbed chains at LS. Tomorrow will be even worse. |

Supposed to be cold into next week, so this 8" or so will be slow to melt. |
