Its gong to be a L O N G year.
Kam needs a new rep. I get his thought, but he has a contract. |

Yeah, they managed to save that one but ETA: Oy... From NFL.COM: The post-game fallout brought controversy, as NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino confirmed that Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright should have been penalized for batting the ball out of the back of the end zone following Johnson's fumble. The ball may not be batted in any direction in the end zone. The play was not reviewable, as the back judge determined on the field that it wasn't an overt or intentional maneuver by Wright. |
Good grief, where was the QB protection? The Bears and Lions both used outside rushers to just kill RW. I'm happy with the outcome, but we still don't look good.

Still a bit of room for some improvement. Hang in there Russell.

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Fucking penalties. No offense. |
Nice (sarcasm), had a solid lead and managed to lose in ET (extra torture - to watch).
They need a OL and a new offense coordinator, Some real bad play calling that was for sure.

I know Pete likes to stick with "his guys", but defenses have seen enough of Bevell + Wilson, they know how to shut it down now. Seattle needs someone who can mix things up and get more creative with what they have on the field now, not three years ago. |
Team deserves to be 1-4...and the only team they beat is a complete dumpster fire. I'm not saying its impossible to turn around because they have the personnel and the experience to go on a run...but they do NOT look good and each loss narrows their chances of even making the playoffs. I'm sure they'll beat up on San Fran a couple times...but they still have some tough games coming up. Ain't gonna be easy, not that anything is in this league. They aren't gonna win the division unless they go 2-0 vs the cards, and I doubt that will happen. Gonna have to hope they can sneak in as a wild card...
The offensive coordinator needs to go. When the guys in the booth are commenting on how every time the Hawks had 4 wide outs it was a run play, you know the other team has figured it out as well. They really need to work on quick passes to the flats. Things that don't need a lot of pass protection because there isn't much.
Is it just me or are the Panthers some dirty playing motherfuckers?
It's getting painful watching the Hawks fuck things up in the fourth vs really knuckling down like they used to.
Chokehawks?
They played better today than last week I thought, Marshawn better than all year....until it gets to gametime. WTF? |
This team has some serious 4th quarter issues going on. We could be undefeated right now. We lost against teams we could have beaten and should have beaten. This is difficult to watch every week. A team so good and so capable and losing in the fourth every time. Fuck.

Bad weekend for football:
Huskies lose on Saturday Hawks lose on Sunday I'm handed my first Fantasy Football loss of the season. |
UW - "Couged it"
Seahawks - really "Couged it" WSU - 2 game win streak, I'm a WSU fan and I'm uncomfortable with this, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel. and yes, I know they will Coug it! |
they won't coug it as bad as my BSU Broncos did on Friday night. 8975923475984235923847 turnovers later...
As far as the Seahawks go: stick a fork in this season. I suppose if they go 2-0 vs the cardinals they could still sneak into the playoffs by being a division winner (Cards helped a lot today by underperforming/losing), but it ain't lookin' good. The good news for them is that their schedule, outside of those cards games, is about to get decidedly easier. I'm predicting they'll finish 9-7, presuming they don't under-deliver the rest of the way. Possible to get in with that record, but I'm guessing they will miss the playoffs. Being a late game choke artist is the kind of thing that becomes a self-fulfilling kinda deal. Guys start pushing/forcing things to try to overcome that and wind up F'ing it up even worse. |
If only they'd paid crybaby Kam his money, maybe his defense brethren would quit choking???
Just a thought............... BTW, I think Sea handled that right but the defense keeps giving the game away in the 4th quarter. |
Can't blame it all on the defense in the 4th Q. The offense still takes the field and fails to complete.
Early on I predicted a 10 - 6 season with early exit from the playoffs. Still stand by it. Hope for better. Rob |
It was great to see Graham getting targeted by Wilson, I think those two will develope into a great tool for the SEA offense, everyone is still covering Graham like white on rice which really limits that option though.
The single biggest problem is still the offensive line. |
Simple personnel and chemistry 'lackation'.
The 10-6 with an early exit sounds vaguely familiar. The Seattle Seahawks have a tremendous amount of talent, but lack the cohesiveness they had just two years ago. I won't mention that PTSD Super Bowl '49' moment, uh, moment, uh, 49, uh, there goes my PTSD again, again, again... I can only hope for a Tom Brady / Patriots failure to make my football season happier. I secretly hold a candle for the Bengals, going back to when they Tiger-Striped their helmets... |
Between the play calling of the offensive coordinator and the collapsing offensive line, the offense is really hurting. It's tough for Wilson to do anything when he is the highest sacked quarterback in the NFL. They really need to start going for quick 6 to 7 yard passes, Little down and outs or button hooks, where Wilson can get the ball off before he gets hammered. Basically what the Bengals did to us.

View Quote If that's the biggest problem then how do you explain so many blown leads in the 4th quarter? Normally this team is trailing going into the 4th and come back. How they were able to do it so many times is beyond me. They finally start getting points on the board early in the game. Oh wait, I know what it is.........it's that infamous choking sound coming from Seattle that all teams are known for |

The hits keep coming - fucking tards.

Yep.
These are my Niners. This game should help you guys get on the right track. |
Wilson is the most sacked in the NFL, 29, that's a ton. Our Offensive line is shit this year.
Also, you can't afford to be the most penalized team in the NFL three years running if you aren't absolutely stellar. |

Yep. These are my Niners. This game should help you guys get on the right track. View Quote They're on track for 9-7 just like they were before this game. It almost made me sad to watch the 49er defense last night. They were slow and crappy at tackling. Navarro Bowman looked HORRIBLE. That dude's knee is still completely F'd. Really, he shouldn't even be on the field. Unless a RB runs right into his chest, he's doing nothing out there. It's sad because he was one of the best in the league before the injury. I'm a Raider fan and have no love for either team, but that 49ers D and the Hawks O line are just playing like dog poop right now. |
The refs did everything to give the game to the Seahawks and they still almost managed to blow that one point lead.
Lockett going down like that was really scary.

13-12.
HA! Lockette droppin' like that, I knew he was OUT, possibly DEAD! Glad he's up and runnin' a bit. Fantasy Football requires a full meltdown of the Patriots, up to and including a loss to the Seahawks in the next Super Bowl. 50 or XXXXX or how in fuck would that be in Roman numerals??? ( I'm a math retard... ) LX? I think the Seattle Seahawks are very close to putting together a cohesive Team. Mindset...can Coach do it? |
