Anybody at Boeing on 3rd?
I went up to Custer Sportsmens Club, and joined on Saturday. Nice facility. I'll be swearing off the gravel pits around Me for now, unless I feel the need for a mag dump, or score some tannerite. |

Yup, I was talking to Paul, I think it was. I'm very interested in doing some 3 gun, and pistol matches.
Heading back up in a day or two to sight in My rifles. Just took one on Saturday. |

As it is, I am happy to have finally found a decent pit to shoot in. Only an hour away. I've never much into punching paper at formal ranges. |

I think at one point we actually had a "reporter" try to go to an LCR....that's the type of publicity we try to avoid. R-32 is our official spokes person. No reporters allowed unless it goes through him. well...he is our leader... |

To get to a gravel pit here I have to fight the JBLM traffic and then head to Capitol Forest. |

LCR IS NOT FOR THE WEAK----IT'S FOR THE WEEKEND.-----------You could be that guy. Next LCR is in April.

I haven't been to LCR for many years. Since before Bobbity left the area...he was always my guide in. I'm hoping to make it for Spring...have several new toys that need a workout that's NOT a range.

I'd be down, but this thread looks like a northside gangbang.
No love for the southsiders? |
|
Come on down to LCR next month. North, south, there's always some way to link up and get in. Oh, it'll still be a gangbang.... but Bobbity won't judge you.
|
|
If We found a place in the middle We could do it there, kinda make a North/South sandwich?

Everett 3rd shift here also.
The Olympia pit can handle a lot of people, the Darrington pit isnt very big but its less of a drive for northern guys. If you guys set a date on a saturday I'd try and go, sunday is tough because I have to work that night. I'd be interested in tagging along for an LCR shoot if possible, never been to one and could bring some fun stuff. |
|
Ahh....LCR. People falling in fires, shaved eyebrows, tannerite mushroom clouds.............my kind of fun.

I recall Bobbity letting me shoot my beater brown truck with a .50. Still sold it for more than I paid for it with bullet holes and all. |

I won't be moving My Mom on the 16-17, so I'm thinking about trying to go now.

Some of us head for the LCR a day early to make sure the bears are not in camp, like the afternoon/eve of the 16th

Are we going to have any long range steel? 100 yards is a bit boring. We were hitting out to 575 yards last weekend.

Wish I could make this one, hopefully next one. Summertime will be better for camping out anyhow.

I will be attending. Planning to come Friday by following Mr. Bobbity.

So I take it everyone has decided to just go to the LRC shoot?
|
|
|
I was kinda thinking after the LCR shoot, trying to set up a get together.
I think where is the biggest thing. |
|
|
|
That's how we got the LCRs. A couple of good guys found/knew a spot. It's not convenient for all, it's a big trip for many but them stepping up and starting it is how we have it. |
