You should not have to rewire it, You can adjust the setting on your 152 to work with the headset.

Plugs are completely different. Harris is a Unity XG-100.

Not so much. I have an MBITR plug at the end of my PTT I need switched out and that thread focuses more on fitting a nexus plug. I have that plug from my headset to PTT already so my problem lies further down the line. Wiring layout looks a bit different too.
