Bellevue, Lynnwood, and Tacoma

My family has never seen a store, let alone tried one of these sandwiches ARFCOMers seem to rave about, so I suppose we finally get to see what the fuss is about.

The Bellevue location is on the corner of 8th and 116th, where that horrible (even by Denny's standards) Denny's was. I noticed the shady used car lot closed down last time I was through there, so hopefully they rip that whole corner down and rebuild.

Chick Fila is awesome.  I love it that Hate Chicken is dropping right in the middle of liberal utopia and getting great business no matter what.

Portland, OR also will be getting its first CFA in 2015.

Portland had CFA from the 80s until around 1994. I don't know why they left, but I'm sure they'll be welcomed back.

Not only is the hate chicken damn good, not only does it make pc moonbats heads explode...

The ones Ive been to ALL are the only fast food restaurants that DO NOT use illegals to work in there- and the kids all have manners...

I still remember, "How may I serve you"..... Sir, Sir, Sir....
Totally different business model from anything else. We will eat there often.

Be careful.  It should be renamed Crack Fil A.  The food really is that addictive.

I grew up in GA and used to work at a software company that had a CFA 1/3 mile away.  Guess what I got for lunch every day at the [then] price of $5?  2 chicken sandwiches!

I have eaten at them a few times in AZ and a few other places.

I recall clean restaurants - good service ... but I remember little dinky chicken sandwiches. Good ... just remember them being small / not good value.

Still prefer Mr. G's back home in Charlotte. Chicken sandwich that covered the whole plate.

I remember the .05 cent white castle joint right next to the dairy queen in Miamisburg OH ( late 60's )

We never ate at WC when I was a kid. My mom cooked all of our meals. In my teens I think I recall White Castle trips ... but the price had jumped to 10 cents I think.

When I was in the service in FL ... in the early 80's there were Krystal burgers / similar to WC - small cheap.

Edited to add: I recall the Krystal burgers being around .35 cents ea ( 1981 )

I definitely remember being a freshman / sophomore and going bowling on a lot of Sundays with my Aunt - my cousin and my uncle Rocky. We would always stop at Mcd's afterwards and me and my cousin Vance would get a couple bags full of plain small hamburgers / cheeseburgers and polish off around 8-10ea !! Of course we were teenage boys. I think the cost of a Mcdonalds plain hamburger in 1976 was around .25-30 cents ea

Are you 100 percent sure it was a White Castle? There were many knock-off joints that played off of "White" or "Castle." I find no record of White Castle ever having opened a store in the Seattle area. They do not franchise, so company records are pretty authoritative.
