It is the old Lowe's storefront on Hosmer.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Should be opening st the end of summer or so they say. They don't have a lot of time left.

Last I heard it was late October or early November. Which is really bad timing for outdoor sports around here. Salmon season is pretty much wrapped up, most of hunting season is done. Good timing for Christmas but if they'd opened a couple month sooner they would  have done a lot better.

Nice, I was hoping they got approval for the fire watch tower sign.

I'm still a little perplexed by the bowling alley.  But that being said, I can't wait to check the place out.

Sir James...

I went to their main store in Maine and it's very cool.  Actually much better than that faggoted REI.

I am interested to see what the physical store is like. I have shopped their online store and it was not all that impressive.

The Bass Pro stores I went were pretty much like Cabela's.
.
The Atlanta store was almost like a Cabela's with a different name.

It's interesting that you mention the online experience.  I wasn't very impressed also.

I heard a commercial on the way to class that they are having a big event on weds and Hauschka will be there.

good timing seeing as it is during the break between deer and elk season.

I might take my boy and go as something to do on a Weds afternoon when the wife is at school.

I cruised by yesterday (slow roll through the parking lot) and they have NOTHING posted about any opening...Grand or soft.

I've been in the one in Las Vegas and it is pretty cool.  Pretty expensive, generally.  Hey!  Just like Cabelas!

My boy and I are heading out now, if you see an old silver jeep cherokee with a rediculoujsly long CB whip on the front it is me.

I've been to the Bass Pro Shops in Nashville and thought it was really cool. Biggest selection of fishing gear I've ever seen anywhere. Cabela's is "meh" by comparison.

I went this am.  To me its Cabelas "north" without the used guns rack.

Did have some cheap Rem 'golden bullet' 22lr bricks and buckets.

3 Kimber Montanas at $1330 + tax.  (overpriced)

And the best part: a list of around 20 powders, with no prices.  I ask the guy how much varget is, he says "i'll go check, but it'll be less than $25.  We're not going to gouge you like the other local stores."  He comes back and tells me its $32.99 + tax.
