Just for those of you looking, Outdoor Emporium on 4th ave in Seattle has CCI 50 round packs, and Federal 525 round bulk packs ($25 ea.).  I was in about 1:30 today and it looked like they had around 15 of the federal bulk packs left out front.

I can't believe its come to this, keeping an eye out for 22lr.

Each time I've been in Outdoor Emp the last month or two, they've always had .22LR on the shelf.

Picked up 525 rounds of Remington .22LR GBHP both yesterday and today, $19.97 ea.  Picked up another 525 Rounds of Federal bulk pack for $21.97 last week.  Picked up another 200 rounds of CCI standard velocity the week before that.  Almost built the stash back up.

Now THAT is encouraging news. The stuff being available is one thing...but word that prices are starting to come down from the God-awful $50/500 plateau that they have been on since Sandyhook (almost 2 years!!!) is what I really want to hear! Like most gun nuts, when the prices come down a bit more, and availability is good to go, I'm buying a lifetime supply...

Bimart.  $5 lifetime membership.  Also, being out here on the coast it doesn't get the traffic that Cabelas, Outdoor Emporium, or Sportco get.  Part of my lunch routine, grab a sandwich and head to Bimart.  The only real downside to the store is that the old fuckers in front of me are usually surprised that they have to pay for their purchases, so the checkout lines are slow.

They have great prices on ammo and powder.  Standard powder prices are from $21-25/lb before tax.  No gouging on .22LR. Since the beginning of the year I've picked up about 7,000 rounds of .22LR, and 20+ pounds of rifle and pistol powder.  About 80% has gone to friends and clients who don't have any.  I have a 525 rd Federal bulk back on my back credenza waiting for one of my clients.  I'm up to 12,000 now.  My only weakness in the stock is I only have about 1,500 subsonic rounds.

We (Tactical Tailor) are starting to carry Gemtech Subsonic .22lr at the retail store.

I am unsure of the price as I work at the manufacturing plant, not at the store.

yeah, bimarts over in the big city aren't so great. Let's just say they have the whole "friends and family" thing going on. You stand at the door waiting for them to open in the morning...then they unlock the door and you race to the back where the ammo is...and there you find half a dozen guys that are already inside buying every box of 22 they have in stock.    Damn employees were just letting their homies come in through the employee entrance before the store was even open. So messed up.

I'll have to try out bi-mart, i've just been surprised the last few times I've been to cabela's they've had it. I'll continue to post as I see it and prices if it's helpful to anyone.
I wouldn't buy from SAA as I wont go there anymore. They're too condescending for my likes.

the new cabelas in Tualitin, OR has 22 each morning. Gun counter guy says they have a bunch, but only put a fraction of it out on the floor each day so that resellers don't just swoop in and buy it all in one go. On Saturday I got a 300 round box of CCIs for $23. Considering that these sold for $6.97/100 at Wallyworld before the Sandyhook Ammo Crisis, that ain't bad.

Lynnwood gun had plenty.....

$15 for 100 rnds of CCI. Other brands but all about .12 cents a round.

The guy at the counter was nice but told me "we're the only ones with ammo"

Wonder why?

Saw a huge pile on the gun counter at Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday.  I bought zero, well because it's 22lr and what the hell is the big deal!?!

Huge pile of it at Cabela's in Lacey today.  Was being largely ignored by most.  T'was Rem/Win/CCI bulk boxes...

Me thinks the panic is over.

Not quite yet. It'll be "over" when 500 round boxes are $10 or less...

Tells you how long ago I bought my 22 stockpile. I've never paid over $7 for a 500+ count bulk box of 22. Sure, CCI stuff was more, but most of my 22 was CHEAP. When I see a $50 bulk pack it almost makes me cry...

Walmart had CCI 22lr today.  Rather expensive though,$8 for a 100 round box limit 3 boxes.  I passed, but they seemed to have a good pile of it.

Which store and what kind?  If it's standard velocity that is actually a reasonable price.

Tumwater was running low but one of the clerks said they were getting more in later.  $7.47 a box.
Thank you for the heads up.

I was just at the Wal-Mart in lake Stevens, there was one younger guy standing in front of the ammo cabinet waiting on a clerk, first thing he says to me is there's only one box left and its mine as he's pointing at a box of cci, I tell him he might as well buy his limit as I point out the stack of cci 22lr hiding on the bottom shelf.

Both Wally Worlds in Fed Way had the black box CCI std velocity for $7.47/100. I took one home just because.  The kid who sold it gave me one of as I told him I only wanted one box.
