The video review would not have changed anything. The ruling on the field was Rams ball, and the view of the ball is completely onstructed before the hawk guy obtained true posession, if he ever did. Yeah, it's under him....ok....he didn't have his hand(s) wrapped around it, and before he can do that, a shit ton of bodies fall on the pile and block the cam. IMO, they should have reviewed it upstairs because they didn't KNOW that there wasn't conclusive video evidence to overturn the call at that time.....but there wasn't so the end result is the same.
I'm a Raider fan. They suck this year. I'm fine with it. No fair weather fans here. In my entire life (I'm 39) they have had probably 5-6 really good teams. I'm used to some down years, the NFL is a very difficult league to build dynasties in. 3 championships is better than almost the entire league. At any rate, if I was a fan of the sea chickens, it'd be hard to keep writing checks to the guy who is spending bajillions to take my guns rights away....but if you guys are cool with that, go for it. Freedom of speech / property rights and all that stuff... |
