STUPID STUPID STUPID.

The better and smarter team won.

Look at that last score then realize the Hawks were running all their reserve and potential players... And Denver ran the piss out of their first stringers the whole first half... Seahawks did just fine.

if SEA can keep the injuries manageable they will have no problem with the squad they have.

and the race to the finish line is the best part of the season imo.

it looks promising.

This. We've talked about it at work and having a bye week that early could end up being a huge factor late in the season. It really helped the Hawks last year having a bye late in the season.

Thank goodness for the Hawks to watch. Been away for a long time, just checking in to say go Hawks! I remember two seasons ago when several folks were wanting Floyd(?) to start and coach Pete fired. I argued Wilson was special and Pete seemed to know what he was doing. Watching 50 years of the NFL allows ya to see trends, heh. I would hope everyone is on board now! gosh what a celebration y'all had downtown. Belated 'Grats, and best wishes for this season.

Remember that most of the wins in the first half of the last season came as the result of some lucky break or a late comeback.

Raiders handed the game to the Chargers.
Carr was doing so well up until that point.

My cousins are all die hard Raiders or Niners fans even split with just me and my parents as Hawks fans so it gets entertaining come trash talking time.

I think it's because they have Wilson figured out as far as covering him, I am pretty sure Lynch has an ongoing back injury and it takes him a while to get going and while Harvin is good when he runs he has no answer for the Coyboys defensive line.
Add in that Unger is missing.

Sherman got played today and Chancellor was playing injured.
The defense is not making the plays they were last season, I counted two interceptions they let let go.

The worst part about it is that it's the Cowboys and Romo and it was at home.

Yeah, I don't see a repeat coming this year. There's no shame in losing to Dallas or San Diego, but the hawks got dominated in both of those games. If not for some luck in the special teams, the Dallas game would not have been close. Last year it was the hawks doing the dominating...

I don't get why they're using Percy Harvin as a running back who occasionally catches a 2 yard pass instead of a deep threat WR?

Because if they send him deep and he gets blown up after the catch, he's gone for the rest of the season. The guy has mad skill but he's made of glass.

He's gotten tackled for sure, I just think they're trying to protect him from full-on crossing hits. I can't think of any other reason why such a talented player would be so underutilized.

They've been running him up the middle though, that's very physically punishing.

Injuries are creeping in, but I also wonder what's up with the offensive play calling. There were some downright head-scratchers in the Cowboys game, and it felt overall way more dumbed-down and conservative than previous games. Where was the razzle-dazzle to keep them guessing?

Lynch touched the ball, what, like 10 times? %82 of all plays were run out of the shotgun, which severely limits the running game options. Harvin was run up the middle but never really given a chance as a wide receiver.

Just a really weird series of decisions.

It seems like Lynch is playing hurt and they're limiting him to avoid making it worse. The threat of him being on the sideline will keep other offenses on their toes.
