We NEED something. There is no place to talk local and trade local. I went to the gun show and was thinking, it would make sense to connect with local people to find a cheap hunting rifle (for my brother in law) as there were no deals. Anyway, if you have anything or are looking for anything, please feel free to use it.

I think i'll put an ad in the spokesman /gun section. Try and get some people in there. We'll need a bunch of members to make it worth anybodies time... So... if you have anything for sale or, want anything, please join and post!
Any Ideas of where else I could post to get some interest? I don't want to spam every message board around...but, i'd like to get some quality members. Thanks, |

Spokesman called and wanted almost $100 bucks for the ad, since it had to be a commercial AD...so, it is only going to run Sunday...

Sorry, there was an error on the site.... hosting support has restored the site (at my request) but have restored the DB as well (specifically not requested)... so, all may be lost... we'll see If I can get it back...

I think you will find that keeping a gun related site up and running on open source software may be a little challenging at times. My crappy little blog has been hacked so many times I lost count. I think I finally got it locked down, but... ETA: for the type of site you have, I recommend multiple scheduled backups per day (both files and DB) |
