ETA... I just read this on the PAFOA





No limit on the # of guns you can buy or transfer at one time.



 More than one purchase or transfer in a 5 consecutive business day period from the same FFL will result in the FFL filling out a ATF Form 3310.4 "Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers"

Yes, PennDot is very strict on this.  You are limited to buying no more pistols than the registered GVW of your vehicle can handle.  They don't like overweight vehicles on the road.
