I'm really sick of this crap.

Probably going to get flamed for this, but I'm a hunter and I've actually always kind of liked having that break. I just liked knowing I had a day a week where I could go in the woods and know there's no hunters around. But I can sympathize with those that hate it.

I don't hunt anymore, but seeing as I work Saturdays, I would be angry about no hunting in Sunday.

I used to be in the car business working Saturdays.. I basically stopped hunting for those years. Now I have 6 kids. I get out when I can.  Couldn't yesterday.. But today the wife is out with all the kids shopping... And it's a nicer day, wish I was able to!

This is typically the time of the year we work 6-7 days per week up until Christmas (except Thanksgiving).  IF I get a day off, it is usually Sunday and that means...no hunting.  Been that way in PA for me since 2006.  That's one of the reasons I've actually paid the money to hunt out of state when I traveled because I had the chance to do it.

It's strange how disconnected and over regulated our hunting laws are compared to our good guns laws.

We can own pretty much anything here and NY has historically been awful and is now intolerable since King Andy passed the Unsafe act.

Yet next Sunday I will be deer hunting in NY with an AR-15 (although neutered) something illegal here due to two separate ridiculous laws.

What is your reasoning behind that?  I've heard people say because they're afraid people will blast away at things in the woods, but it is a fallacy based on ignorance.  You can hunt with a semi-auto in 48 other states and it is not an issue.

Hmmm,  against semi-auto; yet supports Sunday hunting.
Must be an Atheist Fudd. That's a rarity.

You won't be forced to hunt on Sunday.  If you don't want to hunt you can still take Sunday off.

it's not a fallacy, it's first hand experience. i know they were shooting at deer, but they didn't know what else they were shooting at.
people can jack rounds through manually operated rifles plenty fast, no need to make it easier for them to miss animals quicker still.

If semi auto hunting was a safety issue, we would have reams of documentation from the 48 states that allow it.
BTW, it's not about "need" it's about choice.

Idiots that bang off rapid rounds, hunting bullys and other assholes will always be present- don't punish the many for the deeds of the few.
Punish me for I DO not what I MIGHT do. The fudd tactic is straight out of the progressive/socialist play book. ...Each according to his NEEDS....

Convenient you erased the last part of my quote

If an idiot is going to be an idiot I'd actually rather him have a semi-auto.  At least with a semi they are maintaining cheek weld, and keeping the gun on the target.

I can't believe AR15.com has Fudds.  Disgraceful commentary that borders on being anti gun.

Well, I was born in your state, family goes back to well prior the revolutionary war,  left at the old age of 8 and glad as hell I do not live there!   I hunt with a BAR in '06 here in Fla, run deer with walker hounds and enjoy about three months of firearms deer hunting, including Sundays.   Damn sure it has  not hurt the game population here nor in your neighbor states that allow SA's...........stupid law passed by stupid people.......undoubtedly some of whom I'm probably related to!

Besides, what if you just happen to be a Hebrew or Seventh Dayer........just what the hell is the 'sabbath'.............and beyond all that, just why is a sunday prohibition NOT a recognition of religious preference??
