UPDATE 4/21: After searching tirelessly for months, we were able to find an insurance policy that would allow minors on the property and those 14-18 to take part in shooting firearms (with a few restrictions: no machine guns, no cannons and no explosives). As involving the next generation of shooters in this event was something that I personally wanted to see from the start, it appears that is now a reality! Those under 14 year of age, who are accompanied by a parent/guardian, will only be permitted to observe. Unfortunately, due to the requirements of the insurance carrier, all minors will have to produce a Government document (e.g. birth certificate, passport…etc) stating their date of birth. (Photocopies are permissible). Vendor Giveaways include:
Firearms Industry Consulting Group and The Shooter's Gauntlet are going to be sponsoring a Machine Gun Shoot at The Shooter's Gauntlet on April 30 - May 1. Currently, FICG hosts a bi-annual machine gun shoot in Lancaster, PA that has gotten so large we've looked for another location. The hope is that this will become a larger event similar to Knob Creek. Unlike other events, we are also working on having manufacturer's show up with products for individuals to demo. Industry members like LWRC, Thunderbeast Arms Corp., SilencerCo, YHM, Liberty Suppressors and more have confirmed attendance with the list growing every day. The event will feature two main ranges (one for machine guns and a separate location for silencers so that you can actually appreciate what they are doing). Additionally the property also has an 1100 yard range, inversion wall, zipline, assault hike and more! We have also received approval from ATF that will allow dealers to transfer firearms at the event. Mark your calendars now to join us, sign up for updates and be sure to tell your friends! Event Website and Registration DIRECTIONS Local Directions for The Shooters Gauntlet from the Towanda PA area: At the intersection of route 220 and route 414, take route 414 west (route 414 begins here) appx. 2.6 miles, turn left onto Brocktown Rd. Cool sounds like a great event. View Quote We're hoping so. We're hoping to draw a lot of people from the NE as well. The addition of manufacturer's should make this a unique even in that individuals will be able to sample their offerings, which is something that they may not have otherwise been able to do. |

Thanks That website should handle everything as far as the purchase of tickets, etc. I don't know if the event will be "sold out" or not. I'm heading back up to the property next weekend. These are things I'll put in an email to Josh and the owner of the property for us to discuss. Website should handle your option to select one or two day passes. I'll post more definitive answers when I have them. |

Hell Yeah! This is only about 45 minutes south from me. Plans are already made
Even have a guy from work in New York planning on coming down. |

When tickets go on sale they'll be available on the website I'm being told. I don't know whether we are capping attendance or if the pre sale is to just to get a better idea of attendance to plan accordingly so 1500 people don't just show up.

Any idea roughly the capacity of the venue? View Quote No idea. It's a massive property and some of the stuff requires a bit of "travel". There are other activities planned that won't be right on the machine gun shoot line. I'll try to get an idea over the week or next weekend when I'm up there. |

I just hope the suppressor range, for example, is far enough away from the machine gun line to make it fun. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

While it would be great to have them on polar opposites of the property, transportation becomes an issue. |

Never been to an event like this so I'm curious as to how it works. Do you pay for your admission ticket and then pay additionally for the various shooting/activities? Or is it, hey step right up and shoot an M60?
Thanks. |

Whether any will allow people to use their own ammo or not, I don't know. |

The range is looking good. Silencer range is separate from the machine gun range. |

this is going to kick ass!!! make sure you promote the hell out of it, especially at the Outdoor show early next year! We are going to promote the hell out of it. I run the social media for the shop I manage as well as the law firm (although the law firm is a bit more difficult). I've got some ideas and other methods up my sleeve. I'm going to also get some of the manufacturers to help promote it since it'll be in their interest too. This is going to be the first year so it'll be a learning experience but hopefully everyone who comes will have fun. It can only get bigger and better. ETA: I need to make sure the guys in other Hometown forums know about this but I don't want to cross post and get yelled at. |

If we want to participate in any of these activities, Do we HAVE to pre register for the event? Or will you have a chance to pay and participate in the event at the time of the show?
