Hey PA.. I will be visiting PA this weekend I have an Ohio CHL  any issues I need to know about... Like restaurants and such places?

can't open carry in phila.  must be concealed and you need a ccw permit.

Yes, you can open carry in Philly. However, unlike the rest of the state you need a license to carry.

Seconded.

No laws against carrying in bars/restaurants here.  No duty to inform if stopped for a traffic violation.

Ok, I stand corrected about the open-carry w/concealed carry permit.

BUT... you may want to watch this.  The cops don't know the laws!!!  The cops are even telling the guy to conceal carry the gun then they try to say he needed an Act 235 card stating that he is a security guard of which is total BS.  The guy is right, now they try to find anything to detain him.

Like I said... conceal it so you aren't hassled.

Philly cops are notorious for not knowing or refusing to acknowledge PA carry laws despite everyone of them having been told in their 2009 updates that open carry is indeed 100% legal in ALL of PA, including Philly.

Been that way more than 15 years - Category 2 listing, on the Attorney General's site: PA

Oddly that tidbit of info is NOT listed on Ohio's AG site... OH

Now we know why he had to ask.
